  1. Ok. If I went for a week, I'd stop in Levanto which is a bigger town, then use the trains to stop at the 5 villages. It's basically 5 Italian Robin Hoods Bays in a row with walks in between
  2. The Cinque Terre just north of Pisa is excellent, but not the cheapest
  3. Scores one and assists one v Wolves U21. Three Nil up v Barnsley and doesn't bring him on. Playing Crewe at home in the cup, we are behind, doesn't bring him on. The worst part is, it surprised no one.
  4. You don't rate Smith? You should have mentioned this earlier 😀
  5. I'm not sure what's worse. The game orbthe 2 morons behind me. Separate morons. 3 seats apart Gave B4 a little claps on 38.

I'm heartbroken that they're about to tear themselves apart. Heartbroken I tell you.

Without wishing to sound pedantic, that isn't somewhere in the middle. Someone was wrong, that was pointed out, you've explained why they were wrong.

After some shafts of light against limited opposition, this has been the first game where I thought he has maybe turned a corner. It's a start.
  10. When I heard this sad news last night, I was absolutely gutted, B4 was such a positive man, an optimist in times of mediocrity, a true believer who only faltered once, when we were on the brink 16 months ago. The thought of losing his beloved Rams, filled him with dread. However, it is only tonight, reading everyone's tributes, with an unashamed tear rolling down my cheek, that the bigger picture emerged. Tales of chats at service stations and concourses, his passion at at games and most tellingly, the private messages of encouragement or empathy when other posters were going through a tough time. Even when he had his own troubles, which would have left most of us exhausted and probably would have prevented all of us attaining his relentless positivity. The reason behind those chats and messages, as well as good human nature, is we are family. We have something which binds us together, a shared love, a community. We live in a polarised society, where politicians, media and social media seek to expose and amplify any divisions and isolate us. However, we have an attachment, a forum, a club, a badge, a team to rally round and no-one rallied round The Rams more than B4. For those, like B4, who may find life hasn't always been kind or easy, that sense of attachment is even stronger and more important. They say you die twice in life, once when you stop breathing and again when people stop remembering you. Daniel, we will remember you, we will remember your rallying cries, your kindness to others and most of all the purity of your faith for the team you love.
  11. I no longer wear a poppy. I haven't done so in years. I occasionally get stick for it...you're not patriotic etc I stopped wearing them when it became something socially obligatory, when it became something to claim moral superiority for, when it became by some used to become nationalistic. I donate to the British Legion. I'm from a military family, I've been to Ypres 3 times, I've been to Normandy, I pay my respects as I will later today. However, when we arrive at a position that any public figure is terrified at the prospect of being seen without one for fear of being vilified, we haven't learned the lessons from fighting those who also made people wear badges.
  12. So Washington's offside per minute is much worse than Collins'. Interesting
  13. I think he is a sub. He comes to life when the game is stretched. He was poor to average first half v Wolves as they doubled up on him and denied space. As soon as the game opened up second half and the midfield stopped helping the full back, he ran riot. I think the same is true of Sibley to an extent.
  14. Other than Fapetu this is dire stuff. Not worth the trip to Brussels to watch it.
