If you’ve got an older iPhone that set on  4G the signal gets completely overloaded. A cheat trick is to change your 4G down to 3G as not many people are on 3G and it works perfectly - it’s all about how many people are trying U.K. use the same 4G  band width.

Trust me you signal will be great when clogged down to 3G. ivd been doh g this for 3 a few seasons, yes 3G is slightly slower than 4G, but that’s much better than not getting anything in 4G.
    if you’re on 5G it’s fine anyway.

Not sure if this is just an urban myth or what? Someone else recommended that and it worked ok for a while but very slow like you said, now 3G is worse than 4G all I can think is that everyone's heard about this and on 3G.

  2. Really enjoying this season so far. After 14 seasons straight in the Championship i was glad to get out, tbh it didnt bother me if it was up or out the bottom. All those seasons waking up having to drag yourself to another game against Preston, QPR, Bristol City, Blackburn, Reading. Then as if that wasnt bad enough you had teams with truly moronic support, the likes of Brum, Millwall, Boro, Stoke etc, its a horrible nasty desperate place the Championship and im glad to be out of it for a bit.

Ive found myself going back to how i first followed the Rams. Couple of beers at lunch, something to eat and just enjoy the game. A quick flick in the evening to see the scores down the leagues and thats it really. Don't care about the Prem or Championship, not even too bothered about who's where in Division one yet

  3. No not at all, we are lucky to even be competing next season. The new owners need to get to grips with the everyday running of the club again and at the same time make us competitive, hopefully make players young and old want to come and play for the club again.

More than happy to see us finish in the top 8 or so with Rosenior developing a style of play & good young additions to the academy.

Correct, I assume it's because of the clubs recent change in status, access to credit, that sort of thing. Hopefully resolved soon but probably will have a small impact on sales.

I dont think it should be underestimated how much of an effect this could have on sales. Might only be a small percentage who used the payments option i dont know, but it was pretty much myself and all my mates. Not sure many are in a position to just find £400 on the hip anymore or even bang in on the card as in the past. No blame attached to the club obviously with the new owners and probably a lack of trust from financial places it's not possible.

I'm an old timer, Been there seen it and it was GREAT 1965/66 onwards, I'm lucky than a lot on here, Covid was the catalyst for me, Missed my mates, Mother passed from Covid, Brother passed last year, I found running is a great escape from todays shyte, Football was an outlet, Not anymore, Sky I have until I move next month but rarely watch football now, Then Sky gets cancelled, If I want to watch a live game, Then i'll mooth on down to PP and buy a ticket, A live game on Sky I can pick up in a pub not to far away.

Belper Town FC will see a lot more of me, It's a good day out, Yes football is not what it was for me And thouroughly understand why people still want to go, It's very hard to break that habit/loyalty

Similar to my feelings. Spent the day walking in the sunshine. Racked up 13+ miles, wasn't too bothered when I got a notice saying Cov had scored and same when we equalised. It's a shame really but most mates have stopped going which doesn't help things. I felt like this briefly after Jim Smith and got it back again but I'm older and wiser now. I toyed with the idea of watching a few Alfreton town games but can't face singing "Come on you reds" and they are terrible at the minute as well

Fulham certainly did us a favour tonight as Reading certainly got a drumming.

Not sure this is such a great result. They have a talented squad that's in a mess mainly due to the manager. This is the kind of result that will see him sacked, a new manager bounce will probably see them out of reach!

  7. I wouldnt pay too much attention to the Geordie nation, self entitled bunch of ricks that they are, even worse than that lot up the road!

Ashley would be perfect for Derby, lots of experience and would put just enough into the club to ensure a steady climb away from the mess we're in. I dont want someone to come in chucking money about and end up with us like this again. For Ashley to make money he would have to be in it for the long haul, if he makes money it will mean we're in the Prem.

First time in ages i sat and enjoyed a real quality display from a centre half at Derby. Cleaning Ikpeazu out right in front of Warnock with a perfectly legal tackle that he's probably still feeling now the highlight for me. Just a shame he's not 10 years younger or even 5!

    Or was it Howson ?

  10. After constructive discussions with my other half i've decided to put back my decision to buy a ST or not back another 6 days...but...

Being in the SW corner looks like its not going to be the cheap seats anymore in fact i still have no idea how much it's going to cost me to watch Derby this season.

I'm now a grandad with all that entails, just paid for new window and front door, booked three breaks end of August, middle of Sept and end of October. It's ok for all the young bucks to chuck money at following Derby but for old 'un's like me im afraid time waits for no man and Derby have missed their chance at luring me in this season. Will i come back next season? who knows, ive been following the club and paying out for 40+ years, i've drifted away a few times and always come back but never have i had as many other interests or responsibilities as i do now. I think the way forward will be half a dozen hand picked home games and a few aways/weekends away..Bristol, London, Cardiff etc

It's a shame but i fear a lot of people around my age group wont be back

Last time I tried to park in Chadd, the locals were out in high vis jackets pointing to some home made signs they'd clipped to lamp posts. It certainly wasn't official, but I didn't chance having my car keyed by ignoring them!

This was behind the shops on Nottingham Rd mind, closer to the ground near the cemetery was less problematic.

Don't blame them I suppose, some of the parking over there is crazy on match days. We'll give it a go and see what happens

We usually park in Chad, toys R us is fenced off so no parking, the fireplace building has been flattened so no parking there either. The new bridge is in place and wider than the old one.Walked over it for Man U and Real Bettis but not too busy for those games.

Thanks, is the parking situation in Chadd still the same then?. I thought the council were looking to stop on street parking there after complaints from the locals

  13. Just wonder whats been happening out around the Tile place/Chadd footbridge since the last games at PP. We used to park in Chadd over the footbridge or Toys 'R Us or the Tile place. Before Covis stuck it was a mess and we were having to park along Chequers Road, sometimes almost as far out as The Pentagon.

Anything sorted about the new footbridge yet? is there still street parking in Chadd, i think they were trying to stop it at one point issuing fines and the like.
