If it doesn't, I feel it should. Peterborough players were running 50-60 yards through the middle of the pitch at us. That can't be allowed to happen really, we need to have a backstop. We can press as a team but also have a ball winner in the middle, not suggesting they would be deployed exactly as Eustace was, but Hourihane and Bird is a little light weight/immobile.

Agreed, it's not just about one player but we have a central midfield problem, we lack control and it's more evident in games like today against good sides. We need a better ball winner in there. A midfield of Bird and Hourihane doesn't really work for me.

The better team won in the end, we didn't control the game well at all, we didn't create enough chances and it was criminal to let them score a free header when we were in the lead. It's been a good festive period but today was a poor performance.

Has the feeling of a big game this one. If we win this one, we are in amazing form going into a set of favourable fixtures having successfully navigated a tricky Christmas period. Hopefully Stevenage can do us a favour against Pompey too.

We need to come out quickly in the second half and use the positive momentum we have built. We really can't afford to lose this one.

Huge result! Tough away fixture, we played really well for about 60 minutes, we made it a lot harder for ourselves by not being clinical with our chances but you can't say we didn't deserve to win. Especially good result as we've made up ground on the top 2.
