  1. 1.) Fans respond to the football that is served up. They'll get behind the team if the team gives them something to cheer about, it's the same for all clubs. 2.) I'd love to see your numbers to back this up. 3.) Mistakes in the past don't necessarily equate to future mistakes. Sticking with a manager purely because we should have stuck with managers in the past would be daft. 4.) Why is it? We have one of the biggest budgets in the league and a squad that should be able to compete with any in this division. That's just your opinion. We're building back up sure, but why do we have to just accept it'll take a huge amount of time, we're entirely placed to be competitive.
  2. Explain what? He's a very creative midfield player with a lot of end product who has had an amazing season at Spurs so far. Not sure what is not to see?
  3. Pickford, Walker, Stones, Guehi, Chillwell, Rice, Bellingham, Maddison, Saka, Kane, Rashford.
  4. We genuinely don't watch the same game. Baffled.
  5. The worst penalty decision of all time that.
  6. The poster said he bought the site with the intention of increasing the number of nazi and white supremacist postings, given that kind of post is still against Twitter's rules, I would say that clearly is not his intention.
  7. Depends who you consider the "Warne Out Brigade", if you meant that to be me, I defended Warne the other night and have tried to be fairly balanced with my posting about him.
  8. By fighting his corner, you mean objecting to your bad take on the law suit and then your libellous follow up? Not so much standing up for him, as arguing against your points which I think are complete falsehoods. There are valid reasons to dislike Elon, in my opinion he posts questionable things and I'm not convinced by how he treats his employees, but why invent fake reasons? Pretty snide second paragraph mind, not really surprised by it coming from you though.
  9. The point is that we've not been good enough to be a playoff side with a third of the season up, clearly highlighting the need for plenty of improvement. It's a valid discussion to have is it not?
  10. Clearly don't agree with his anti-semitic post, but this is completely an unrelated thing. You can be a free speech absolutist and believe that a non for profit organisation like media matters should be held to account if you can demonstrably prove that what they are telling advertisers is false. It just isn't the "own" you think it is. He isn't calling for average citizens to be arrested for saying things he disagrees with.
  11. Makes a change that you didn't just call me too impulsive or immature to hold an opinion, so hey that's growth! Robinson, Fapetu, Brown and Weston are all good players that could have played more of a part than they have. I think a different manager would have given them a chance. And therefore, that's an entirely valid reason to criticise Warne. Not sure where in my post I was "berating" as opposed to voicing an opinion, but hey you are one for dramatics. Who would I have signed? No idea, don't know how much they had available to spend. I'd rather have added a few younger players for a bit more money rather than more of an older contingent mind. Other teams in the league with similar or lower budgets manage to get younger players signed mind, so pretending it is an impossibility is just playing daft. So we agree he isn't doing a good job of what he's trying to do basically? You assume that Warne is forced to make do with a squad of journeymen, do you think Stevenage and Oxford have a wealth of talent available? As you well know, I was referring to the size of the revamp, not that it would be needed. But again, flair for the dramatic clearly. Most sides can get by in the league above with a few key additions, we'd basically need to rip out the whole core.
  12. Except, that isn't at all what the lawsuit is about and you well know it.
  13. It's an objective measure of our performance. Why do you pretend to miss the point?
  14. Yeah, because it's obviously a metric for performance as during the season. Of course it's ultimately about where we finish, but it's clearly a useful barometer which can be used to appraise performances up to now.
  15. That isn't a long term aim though. We get up with our squad of typically older players that aren't even dominant at league one level, and then what? We don't seem to be building a squad that is capable of surviving when we get up, or with any resale value for us to further invest when we get there. It is of some concern, in my opinion.
  16. This race is going to be all about tyre management. Teams haven't seem to be able to keep the tyres in a workable condition for very long at all this weekend so far. Ferrari is clearly the quickest car over a single lap, however notoriously pretty hard on the tyres.
  17. This post is spot on and very close to my feelings. The actions of Warne whilst being at the club doesn't give the impression that this is a long term project, namely the age profile of players signed and the reluctance to use the academy. It appears to be short term thinking recruiting players on their last legs to muddle our way up. I have serious doubts that if this squad was to get up that we would be able to stay up. Even with some additions, we would need a serious squad revamp. There is a lack of clear vision at the club at the moment, I can't quite see what it is that we're trying to achieve.
  18. Rubbish performance, Tomori left back unsurprisingly didn't work. No zip in the passing at all. Disappointing.
  19. No shots on target, no real chances created against Malta. Yeah, pretty shocking.
  20. So in your opinion, either a centre half is playing in midfield or at full back? You understand that isn't better?
  21. Is it not a back 5 of Trippier Maguire Tomori Guehi and Alexander-Arnold?
  22. Through already, with a chance to give younger players some minutes and we get Henderson and 5 at the back. Shambles.
