  1. Bring back the face palm - far less contronational way of telling someone they're talking out of their aardvark than having to compose a response to their gibberish.... I think the biggest issue is the lack of puns - inserting a a good stiff pun every now and again would certainly help to lubricate the intercourse....
  2. I can supply a list of usernames where that clearly doesn't apply if that would help?
  3. Ankaragucu president Faruk Koca has been arrested over the assault and matches in all Turkish football leagues have been suspended indefinitely.....
  4. It would appear he's decided that he no longer wants to work in football - or else he's having some sort of very public breakdown and needs help
  5. It's lovely reading their comments on Twatter - they're convinced that they wouldn't have been trashed 5-0 if wonky Worrall had been in the team (though they may well have lost by even more as he and McKenna strike me as their worst two defenders....)
  6. Everton tonking Newcastle 3-0 - not great news for the dogs 😂
  7. It's closer to diarrhoea than vomit to be honest.....
  8. Man Ure take the lead against Everton via a better than Rooney-esque overhead from Garnacho - astonishing….
  9. I loved that Ferrari managed to bring a dose of comedy to the day - Sainz on the radio saying he's confused and doesn't know what the strategy is and the reply is "the strategy is to keep going as long as you can and hope for a safety car".....
  10. I’m afraid not - it’s been many years since I sported hair of a similar length to the late, great Mr Zappa (didn’t stop one poster from sending me a PM calling me a ‘long haired nonce’ after i suggested in a post that he needed to chill for his own wellbeing though! 🤣)
  11. I’ve been very much on the fence with regards to Warne. I hate the chopping and changing and really wanted him to succeed. I keep hoping that we’re turning a corner but yesterday was yet another awful performance only rescued by NML - without him we’d have been praying for a 0-0 bore draw…. And then to hear the obnoxious manager being interviewed on RD and patronising Dom about the formation “we changed the formation in the second half and if you didn’t notice that, you don’t get football” was disgraceful. We may make the playoffs, we’re might even scrape automatics if we can put a solid run together, but I’m finished with the bloke and his stupid hats - sooner he’s gone the better…..
  12. The opposition midfielder looking better than any of ours is becoming a common theme - too often we surrender the area due to Warne’s ‘get it out wide at all costs’ tactics. I’m pleased you worked out where Korey was playing yesterday - I hadn’t got a clue who should have been doing what - and it seemed a lot of the players were equally as confused…..

    Oops

Barnsley have been expelled from this season's FA Cup after fielding an ineligible player in their first-round replay against Horsham FC....
  14. Do I still have to ask myself the question if I've no idea what Truth Social and Parler are?......
  15. This is the issue with the stewards (has Karen got some dodgy photos of FIA officials?) - Max only took the lead by going off the track (and thereby forcing another car off) - no argument who was to blame but to give him a paltry 5 second penalty made a mockery of the situation (as was clear from his sarcastic response when the team passed it onto him). As for the George incident, you have to ask what George could have done differently? - he was already turning into the corner when he was hit by a bellend throwing a car into a gap that wasn't there - it's clear who was ahead when you work out which car lost it's endplate - if George was aware of Max's car (which I doubt), he simply couldn't have left any more room for Max unless he'd gone down the escape road or driven into the wall - quite clearly not his fault yet lost 4 places due to biased decision making from the stewards - imagine the outcry if the two cars had been reveresed and George had tried the same stupid overtake on Max....
  16. A far better race than I was expecting but so many things wrong with the whole event: poor track construction so Sainz lost 10 places on the grid through no fault of his own no support races so the track was completely 'green' and super slippery racing at night with a very low track temerature (contributing massively to the slippery conditions) celebrity obsession - far more than normal (at one point Beckham seen standing in the pits during a pit-stop - how is that considered safe?) Sky constantly pushing how wonderful Vegas is and doing a huge sales pitch at every opportunity the bloody sphere thingummy - so off putting Brundle with his head even further up Max's backside than normal Race Control & the Stewards doing their best impression of VAR - interferring in everything; taking too long to make decisions; and then seemingly giving the wrong penalties....
  17. It's hard to know what to expect in the race - first few laps should be vaguely interesting due to the 'out of position' cars on the grid but I'm hating the ridiculously long straights which will should let the faster cars through with ease once DRS is enabled. Start may be interesting if Max tries to put Leclerc in the wall (seems to be his standard approach if he feels threatened by the speed of one of the cars off the grid) - though given the season Charlie's been having, I wouldn't blame him for taking Max out if he tries anything too outrageous....the authorities certainly seem to be scared of punishing Max when he's clearly trying to intimidate other drivers....
  18. Understand Everton are appealing the deduction, but it looks like a slam-dunk with little to argue other than they've been penalised while Man City & Chelsea have not... To be honest, they're in form at the moment and there are some pretty dreadful teams in the bottom half of the PL so getting a deduction this season may not be as catastrophic as it may have been in another season...I can see them escaping relegation fairlt comfortably.

    Nigel Clough

Just confirms to me that he's (still) a miserable bugger......
  20. You couldn't make up the farce that F1 is nowadays - Sainz hits a broken manhole cover (clearly not his fault) and therefore has to repair various bits of his powertrain and is given a 10 place grid penalty as a result...are they actively trying to drive people away from the sport?
  21. First practice cancelled after broken manhole cover damages both Sainz and Ocon cars.....too much hype, not enough substance - could I actually agree with the man-baby for once?
