  1. Didn’t see Hourihane warming up so hope he’s coming on for the second half. It’s got to get better, that first half was pretty dire.
  2. I’m always very apologetic to the people behind me and try to slouch down. I sometimes take my bobble hat off as well!
  3. Great, thanks Angie. I’m 6’6”, so if the person in front is a foot taller he’s escaped from the circus!
  4. Got our Reading tickets. We’re in the corner, in block GU1. Haven’t been before so hope it’s a decent view.
  5. Agreed. He looked tired to me and had his quietest game for a while. Understandable with the number of minutes he’s played recently.
  6. That was a shame. It felt like a game too far, we looked low on energy and a few players weren’t at it. I was impressed with Peterborough, they were full of running and looked dangerous throughout. Got to dust ourselves off now and start another run. COYR.
  7. Arthur showed a load of heart to go the distance. Bivol’s some fighter, his hand speed was ridiculous.
  8. Lovely photo! But a disappointing lack of scraves and flanges. 🐏
  9. @Gritstone Ram Looks like they’ve sold out of individual cans but you can still get cases of 12. I’ve got 6 in the fridge with 12 more on the way so you’d be welcome to grab one to try. I’ll be at the Lincoln game, I could hand it over before if you’re going.
  10. Yeah, it’s lovely. A proper hop bomb and dangerously easy drinking, you don’t really notice the strength. They’re two of my favourite breweries so it’s right up my strasse.
  11. I’m born and bred in Sutton so I’ve been surrounded by Villa all my life. They’re generally a good bunch (way better than the bluenoses!) and they’re loving life at the moment.
  12. I think my brother went on that coach a few times in the late 80s. Ed Dawes might have as well, although we didn’t know each other at the time. He’s a Sutton lad.
  13. I’m surprised there isn’t a West Midlands branch. There was in the 80s, I remember going to The Royal in Sutton Coldfield for a branch event evening with Graham Richards and Colin Gibson. i can’t remember much else, other than the branch chairman went to prison for fraud. Honestly! Nothing to do with the supporters’ club, I think it was at his work. Maybe that’s why there isn’t a branch any more!
  14. Game over. They’ve been good value for the win.
  15. That’s one of the worst misses I’ve ever seen! 🤣
  16. Yeah, I heard some booing. Poor first half but that minute’s silence was very emotional. Felt like everyone took part, even the Rovers fans. Hope we can come out firing second half for B4.
  17. Good luck to everyone trying for Glastonbury tickets in the morning. I absolutely hate it, it’s such a stressful experience!
  18. That was disappointing tonight. We were woefully one-dimensional - don’t know if that was down to Warne’s tactics or the players, likely a bit of both. I enjoyed sitting in the East Stand for a change but that was pretty much the only positive. Oh well, hope we’ll turn it around against Bristol Rovers and can get some consistency.
  19. Oh no, I’ve only just seen this. This is devastating news, B4 was a huge part of this forum and hopefully always will be. My son and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting him and his Dad at the services on the way to Wembley for the Villa game and we had a lovely chat. What a passionate, loyal, positive, upbeat guy. I didn’t know B4 like some of you did, but I wish I had. Thinking of all Daniel’s family and friends, RIP B4.
