  1. Hmm. Spilt red wine on the carpet earlier and received an absolute earful.
  2. Brilliant, just brilliant. I don’t know what we’ve done to deserve all this good karma, but just when you think they have the upper hand on us, we pull ourselves together and they embarrass themselves in front of the whole country. The spirit of Fawaz lives on.
  3. I have just been thinking, I hope I haven't gone too early. I'm having horrible visions of being rinsed on Twitter by Forest fans, like @David was by Leeds a few years back (still my favourite day ever).
  4. Isn't it great that it doesn't really matter though. In recent years, we've had to cling onto the hope of Forest failing because there's been so little to celebrate. I obviously want Forest to go down, but them staying up won't even register compared to the jubilation we should feel on Saturday.
  5. Just realised, there will probably be a few of their fans at the game on Saturday who saw us win it in 1975 too!
  6. I'm thinking about contacting them in the summer to see if they want a hand with their content. I think a group like this is massively needed since @TomBustler1884's lot packed it in a few years back. I just hope they're not self-important barstewards like Black and White Together. Am I right in remembering them making a formal statement calling for Warne to go? The arrogance!
  7. @superdave, not sure if this was the plan anyway, but he should consider throwing a few Derby songs onto his setlist. It's what Jamie Webster started doing for Liverpool fans, and it did wonders for his career and led to this. Mega.
  8. Good to see. But the marketer in me can't resist saying they need a better website!
  9. Was going to say Carlisle fans might not like him milking it, but I expect they'll buy into the party atmosphere. Unless they've turned on him this season - anyone know?
  10. The presence of this group has completely passed me by. Probably because I see less Derby-related tweets now Twitter has gone down the TikTok route of showing you what the algorithm thinks you'll like, rather than posts from people you follow. Are any "Twitter famous" Derby fans involved?
  11. Surely we're creative enough to choose a different tune🤣@therams69 work your magic
  12. What a way for him to go as well. Too young, but to see people paying tribute to your life across multiple countries while you’re alive must be special.
  13. I got pelters in school when they were doing well and Derby kept messing up promotion. Developed a bit of a hatred for them after previously wanting them to do well. Now, having long since left school and with them having less to shout about, the hatred has cooled to not really caring either way.
  14. That’s a disgrace. No better than they were before or during our struggles
  15. Is that Cambridge away or 1930s Germany?
  16. Those were pretty much the exact words he shouted at me minutes after beating Leeds in the play offs.
  17. Can’t remember tbh, but we’re all the better for Warne finding the right combination in the end.
  18. I imagine it’s a little more difficult to drop the captain and player with the biggest reputation than it is to drop, say, Fornah. Also, set pieces.
  19. Thanks mate. I’m in the same boat (minus Wembley pictures sadly). I’m glad I was around for 06/07, and I remember a fair amount of it (far more than many of the Clough years actually), including the day itself. But I don’t recall being hugely emotional about it all. On being a parent, my mum has given me her ticket for Carlisle, bless her.
  20. This. I think those who don’t want it to happen (which is fair) are better off accepting that it will happen, and not getting worked up over it. I feel like I remember a couple of times in that period where we seemed to invade the pitch at the end of every season (which was weird looking back) that people cleared off after a while and the players came back out. Maybe my memory is faulty, but it’s completely doable.
  21. Couldn’t find a standalone Clowes thread, so started this one. As someone who was very much in the Warne Out camp and thought Clowes was making a mistake for keeping him on, I have to hold my hands up and say he was bang on to hold his nerve and not be swayed by an increasing amount of hostility. I still have my thoughts on how the club should be run differently, but we can save those for another day. I may have missed it, but this man needs a proper song ASAP.
  22. That’s it, I’m off to the bookies!
