I was at the training ground yesterday and I didn’t hear anything new. Lots of the first team were already in doing final bits of prep to join in training tomorrow.
I do expect a busy week of incomings from what I heard last week.

Round the Houses got a reaction from Comrade 86 in Preseason training
The players are back on Monday 1st July - the first 2 days are a mixture of Fitness Testing & Group Sessions.
A fixture is waiting to be confirmed on Saturday 3rd August.
Unsure if it’s been confirmed yet (apologies if it has) but an away fixture against Barnsley on Wed 31st July has been booked in too.

If you re-read my post, you’ll see that I didn’t “suggest” we sign Etete, I was informing that I saw Etete training on the indoor with personal trainer doing some 1:1 work.

So was at the Training Ground tonight and picked up 3 bits of information.
1) Ben Osborn was shown around the training ground (nothing groundbreaking)
2) Kayden Jackson was also shown around the training ground.
3) Kion Etete was also there at the training ground… but it looks like he was using the facility with a personal trainer doing 1:1 rather than it being a transfer link!

It’s interesting to hear about potential Cashin links. There have been 2 CB names which have come to me in the last couple of days, 1 has visited the training ground and the other has only been in spoken about (I’m sorry I’m unsure which is in which order)
• Harry Souttar (Leicester)
• Nigel Lonwijk (Wolves)
In my opinion, 2 very different centre backs but wouldn’t have thought we’d be after 2, unless there were any departures…
With the information provided, I believe Souttar is a loan and Lonwijk is permanent.
