Rhoderick dhu, 100 yards from central station and the Horseshoe bar are traditional boozers.
Down Merchant city, Molly Malones, and next door Boteco da Brasil. The O Neil's up the road is big and has a good atmostphere.
Out of the centre and not far from where Inverurie ram suggested near Ashton lane is my personal favourite, Tennants bar.
To be fair, you can't go far wrong in Glasgow for a reallly good choice of boozers.
I had a brilliant curry at Chaakoo bombay cafe last month in St Vincent street if you are hungry.

Great fight.  I had Fury by 4. How he got up in the 12th is beyond me.  I'm not a religious man but if that's what faith does for you, I might have me a bit of that!

They compared it to Mayweather v Pacquiao where the 2 of them met in a hotel, decided they wanted to fight each other and told their promoters to make the deal.
AJ and Wilder should do the same. I get the feeling £ is Wilders driver though, probobly because his promoter is prodding him.

I do wonder what's really going on and going to happen with the American market. Hearn has signed some big names and they have Canelo v Fielding don't they on PPV? But no huge stars fully signed up.
I dunno, boxing promoters are all car salesman aren't they. The broadcasters, the promoters... they use so many dirty tactics it's no wonder people get fed up of the sport.
Do you trust any of the Americans more than Hearn?
This DZN deal is shrouded in mystery too. Hearn has long defended PPV boxing. Always said it's the only way to generate the money for big fights. The USA clearly works as they charge like $100 per fight don't they? BT and ITV are in on it. Then he goes to DZN and you can now have it all for £10 per month or something?
Is he pulling the rug from under them?
The whole AJ v Wilder thing has been a farce. Both fighters want it, both fighters are getting mocked for not having it while all these promoters plot and scheme to boost the interest, build names and avoid their man getting beat. It's so boring.
What I will say is that the winner would hold all the cards. So why doesn't one of them take the plunge and do what Fury did. Go into the enemies backyard and chase glory.
Fury and has done everything to make sure when that AJ v Fury fight comes that he's got a strong negotiating position. He just needs that WBC belt.
Wilder v AJ. Wilder fighting in the UK v Whyte,  AJ fighting on DZN vs Miller. It's all to fill promoters pockets.
Whatever the pull of America, Wilder seems to be desperate though. Why fight Ortiz and Fury? Why agree to go to Russia to fight Povetkin? I really don't understand the politics.
But a draw last night conveniently boosts the profile of both men, makes a few more quid and leaves Joshua hanging. Tyson winning would have been a big blow.

He desperately needed to avoid anymore knockdowns after the first. I thought he won every round but 2 as well but with 2 (10-8) rounds then they only have to find 3 close rounds to give Wilder.
Think it was round 3 or 4 that was close. Maybe they gave one of those?
Tyson put himself back at the top level with that performance anyway. Shows he's still got it. Nice to see him throw some power punches too.
Hopefully he's learned enough to figure out Wilder completely for the rematch.
That guy is there for the taking. He has got a bit of a vulnerable chin, he's not a particularly good boxer. He's just got the fear factor and range.
Fury can do this knobber! Get that belt and shut him up, the weirdo.

With Tyson being 3 stone heavier than Wilder he might wrap him up and lean on him to sap his energy.

The wife sometimes gets a bit nostalgic after a couple of pints of cider. Thinking of building a bike shed in the back garden, so she can get that authentic feel while recalling her youth.

He rarely plants his feet and swings so who knows. He does have sharp punches though. Watch the Wlad fight and when Wlad pushes him at the end Fury does rock him. He beat up Chisora and Hammer. In fact he has beat up quite a few of his opponents. He must hit as heavy as you can get but take. He lands some great little shots from nowhere too.
Thing about Wilder is so far he's always punished opponents for errors. Ortiz had him in real trouble but ran out of steam. Even Molina rocked him.
How can this not be essential viewing to a boxing fan. It's kind of been labelled a little LA sideshow and the winner gets fed to AJ. But it's a proper good heavyweight clash. Might disappoint the more casual crowd as the fireworks will probably come reluctantly but will end the fight. Good 50/50 though

Has Tyson got the power to make Wilder take a backwards step? Im not sure he has, but here's hoping.
I dont think he will be able to duck and dive like he did v Klitchko.
Im hoping he can tire Wilder so he can take him out in the later rounds. Im dreading him getting caught flush though.
One thing about Tyson, he's backed up everything he's said in his career so far.

Wilder is a guy that owns a bazooka, a gold desert eagle and wants a body on his record. He fights for the black race, he's a King and a soldier who's put on this earth to punish people for their sins.
Hopefully Tyson can put his jaw out of action for a bit because the guy is a complete dick head.
I find his act quite tiresome now. Him and his team are very very boring but loud. I want him to lose his title, his money fight v AJ and whatever small support he has in America.
I mean Tyson talks poo but he's got layers and there's a good bloke in there.
Wilder talks poo. Like full time. With any decency becoming deeper with every ego boosting win against the easiest opponents he can get away with. Knobber

I watched the Tyson Fury interviews and I was shocked at how much I related to his experiences with mental health. It shows money and success doesn’t matter. Granted, I’ve thankfully never been at the crossroads of if I want to live or die and I don’t think I ever will. I’m incredibly lucky to have people in my life who care about me. It helps ease any negative thoughts that might pass through my mind.
I unfortunately take things very personally and I believe it’s down to past bullying at school for years and mental scars sometimes don’t heal fully. It’s so bizarre because I can have someone yell at me and not affect  my day. However the next day, a tiny harmless remark can trigger the emotions, which is frustrating and has the knock on effect of having negative thoughts. I can go into my shell and not talk to anyone and even go to the work toilet and cry. Mental health does the stranges things and it’s unpredictable nature sadly costs lives.
In the interview, Fury mentions the time he had a panic attack and felt like dying. Having experienced a severe one, it flooded back the memories. You can’t breathe, you’re passing out, you can’t hold your waters, it’s the worst nightmare imaginable. And 18 months on, I still haven’t fully recovered. Granted, it’s about trying to retrain the brain but you can easily lose focus and the airways mentally close up. It’s a feeling like nothing else.
I know what I have is genetic and my sister is mentally unwell. Where as I’m open to talk about my issues, nobody can talk about it with her. She’s aggressive if you talk about her condition which is sad, so sad. But that’s not her fault. It never will be.
Mental Health has a stigma and is a silent killer of men and women. If I ever raise money it’s for mental health charities. We hear a lot about it being difficult to spot and I agree. I can quite easily put a poker face on for most of the day if needed. This is why we need to encourage more folks to get involved with talking about feelings and stop shying away from issues. Talking is the hardest yet the best starting point on the path to get help. And thankfully I have a platform to express my thoughts ??

Yes, its the Brewdog one. First time I've seen it on tap. Far too many downed tonight considering it was meant to be a 2 hour session to pickup semi final tickets.
The train to Hampden tomorrow might be a delicate one.......
Ps, I tried the Brewdog  Quench quake, sour beer last night and its surprisingly drinkable. Never seen it down south but in Tescos up North.

Westhill service station, Aberdeenshire.  They've extended the normal grocery shop and got 4 big chiller cabinets of different beer from around the world. They do deliveries etc and have 2 kegs, 'beers of the week' on the go where you can bring you own bottles and fill them up.
When he told me his plans 3 years ago I laughed at him, but to be fair he's got a good customer base.
