Bristol Rovers - 25 November

Just got in... First half was deadly, deadly dull with Collins returning to his party trick of being in the wrong time and the wrong place for the majority of it.... Second half much better, the game opened up and Mendez, again was the difference. In the end I was very happy....I saw Chris Martin again score a cracking goal at pride park and we still won the game! It's all bleeding coming together... somehow. COYR! -

Definitely not... -
Just got back in. Great game today,we never left them alone and their lack of chances or opportunities was the result of that. Great game for collo but fozzy was my man of the match,he made some superb, brilliantly timed challenges and scored a lovely goal (or was it 2?) That game would have pleased warne very much i suspect as it seemed to contain all of the qualities he wants from the team, hard work, passion, pressing, athleticism and goals (although we could easily have had 6)

Awful news,he was the most positive and enthusiastic poster on the forum and will be sadly missed. RIP B4

How many times have we seen this when we play teams who sit deep, pack their box and play on the break? Warne has got to find a way to get around this because it's how every bloody team in league 1 (and clearly league 2) play. -
Would Someone Take Paul Warne to Disneyland Already

I knew that when my lad was young,I was forced the watch the bloody "night garden" on TV every single day and it became part of my bloody waking consciousness (I still hate that thing that endlessly pushed stones around in a pram) Perhaps warne suffered the same fate with his kids watching Disney 24/7! 🤣 -
If this was his first season I may have thought the same but we went on a 17 game unbeaten run last season,so presumably they do have some ability to produce suitable tactics.

I've got a spare ticket for the next home match, you are more than welcome to come up and join me with a pint of IPA and judge for yourself Roy 👍

You watched it on TV.....nothing wrong with that but you would appreciate the sound and atmosphere if you had attended the game live...I remember you saying you haven't been to a game in a long time. It's hard to judge via a monitor. You may even have enjoyed it,it was a nice change to some other games this season and that made it all the more enjoyable.

There's a good selection of grub at derby nowadays, they are spread out amongst the separate buying areas however,so very easy to miss if you traditionally stick to your closest serving area. Shame they don't just get a local baker like birds or Stacey's to do the food throughout the stadium tho, having some decent fresh cobs or sausage rolls etc would be great and good for the local economy. -
We weren't playing like that when warne took over Roy,all we did under rosenior was play side to side, endless pointless passing football, this was nothing like that. Last night's performance was a vast improvement to that style. Swift and accurate passing, the ball going through the middle as well as the wings and 4 lovely, technical finishes. You would have enjoyed it if you had been there,I did and I've been a critic of our gameplay not being slick or enjoyable enough. Credit to warnes management team where it's due,the changes last night were effective and there was a lot of attractive football on display. Let's hope it continues.

A genuinely excellent performance tonight,we looked like a team from the league above against Northampton. Great movement and aggression and some lovely touches and control throughout the team. And,what a lovely set of goals, all well crafted and taken. I was especially impressed by Washington tonight, every ball stuck to his feet and he looked full of confidence. I actually enjoyed that very much tonight. Hopefully the start of the revival. -
* Rooney was the reason rosenior was able to sign those players* And then he f***** off
