  1. It's surely no coincidence that Tommo almost exactly resembles Gemmill at the same age.... Cheers Archie, the boys done good!
  2. What a win, what a comeback. Bloody love that and this team. Autos here we bloody come
  3. A draw will do for me today, this is going to be one of those games that just come along every now and then.
  4. Two individual errors that you just couldn't predict.... I wouldn't like to be in the dressing room at half time if this doesn't change. Warne must be absolutely fuming with these plonkers
  5. Firstly, what a Muppet Second, the forward had already kicked the ball out when the collision took place What the actual f***
  6. They were hopeless because we five man pressed them to death for the first 60 minutes...that's not sustainable if you have two more games in the next week... The changes were spot on in terms of the time played and also to safely run the game down to the end.
  7. What? Are you describing warne it your own demeanour on here? He has been criticised for being too cheerful in the past! The blokes a perfectionist,he wants the team and players to play to the best of their ability and it riles him when they don't. Always a moan on here, wherever we are in the league. Cheer up sage,it's Christmas
  8. You are either worthy or not,the table doesn't lie. I'd rather it's was maclarenesque flowing football but I don't really give a s*** if we get promoted and warne has a proven track record of achieving it playing it his way over a season.
  9. I think you are scrutinising it too intensely. Warne doesn't do subtle,he happy or he's pissed off with little in-between plus he's a perfectionist which leads to the sort of interview we saw last night. I can see where he's coming from to be honest.I thought out overall performance was pretty lacklustre and needs a lot of improvement but I'm happy with a win. If he'd of been outwardly happy with the game, then that's when I would have been concerned.
  10. I didn't see it as weird. Warne wears his heart in his sleeve and despite the win he clearly wasn't remotely happy with the performance, particularly of some players (ward especially) and finds it hard not to show exactly how he's feeling. I'm glad he wasnt happy with that,we can and have played a lot better and we need to strive to improve if we are going to go up in the automatics.
  11. I was quite chuffed with this one from my seat in the easy stand,it was quite foreboding but did slightly distract me from the game which wasn't a bad thing.
  12. This will potentially be one of those difficult games... I'd imagine, given their run of form that that they will primarily put to stop the rot and the best way to do that against us is to just put everyman behind the ball and look to frustrate us. This tactic is always out worst nightmare as we struggle to combat these s**those tactics.
  13. It's my birthday today and this is turning out to be a lovely present, cheers Paul warne and the boys,I am very happy 😁
  14. Just goes to prove Clough jnr was good at collecting the ingredients but was a below par chef!
  15. What's the bass like in there uttoxram? Used to enjoy proper a proper pint from the old bass museum at Burton, after work, back in the day but I've not tried it since the place closed down.
  16. Professional win that. Excellent defending and well managed by warne to be fair. Onwards and upwards COYR!
  17. Look at that,a striker in the right place at the right time and with sublime composure.... Just what we have been missing. Get in JJ!!!
  18. Lots of endeavour here and opportunities but lacking a bloody decent number 9 to actually do something with the ball when it drops to them. Waggy on for the donkey please.
  19. His touches were still sublime but he wasn't the focal point of their attack which,as we know,he needs to be. Still scored a glancing header out of nothing which is something none of our current centre forwards are capable of..... Cashin did a very good job of looking after him tho today and clearly got under his skin as Chrissie threw him to the ground at one point for his efforts 😁 I'd still have him over any of our current cf's even if he's slower than a slow thing...but running around a lot was never his thing, being in the right place at the right time was.
