  1. To be fair, I reckon they've all probably been justified. Not sure about yours though.😀
  2. Not sure this game will end without a red card (or two).
  3. You’ve got legs haven’t you? Walk it you half fan. 😀 #bemoreB4
  4. Very true but I’m sure Sheffield Wednesday fans would take it right now over a relegation battle after last season’s euphoria.
  5. I disagree. I reckon he’d fit right in on this forum 😀
  6. Now I’m confused. I thought Xg related to incidents (I.e. goal scoring opportunities and the quality of those opportunities) that actually occurred during the game, and therefore a kind of post match analysis rather than any sort of pre match prediction. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Shows how much I know.
  7. They were probably pink before he had his way.
  8. Some of us aren’t allowing ourselves to get too carried away but that doesn’t mean we “won’t be happy until we’ve won league 1”. I’m very pleased with where we’re sitting right now and will begin to really believe if results go our way tomorrow and we pick up a decent number of points over our next three games. COYR.
  9. It astonishes me that some people suddenly think we’re going to boss this league for the remainder of the season. We might well do and, of course, I hope we do but we haven’t managed to up until now and whilst we’re on a good run of results I don’t think anyone would say we’ve turned the corner in terms of performances. At least 7 points from the next three games (obviously the ideal would be wins against Peterborough and Oxford) and a decent transfer window (with incoming and retaining key players) and I’ll be getting my boarding pass (even if it does have to be checked 3 or 4 times for every game 😀) for Automatic Promotion Airlines.
  10. Steady on buddy. Let's not get carried away. I'm happy to celebrate the win and sitting 3rd in the league but the mood on this forum could very quickly change with the next three games looking potentially tricky.
  11. Agreed he certainly made a positive impact (although I'd be tempted to say the impact made by Wilson was even better). If only he'd hit the ball towards the goal when NML's effort was saved and played a sensible pass instead of taking a wild shot towards the end it would have an excellent game for him.
  12. How can you “hate” a person for just trying to do his job however bad you think he is at it? I really can’t think of anyone I actually hate least of all someone I’ve never even met.
  13. Goal saving tackle by Cashin and then another great tackle when he looked beaten.
  14. I actually hope they don’t. I don’t think he’ll need telling what a stupid decision he made there and being b********* by his manager and team mates is neither going to change what happened or help.
  15. Didn’t Forest play Spurs on Friday night not Sunday afternoon? Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Forest game wasn’t actually a sell out. I know their official capacity is a little higher but we all know clubs quite often can’t sell up to their capacity.
  16. Well as others have said, it wouldn’t be necessary if there wasn’t a risk of folk trying to get in the wrong areas. Sounds a pain but not exactly the end of the world. Not worth relocating if you prefer standing in the South Stand. Just keep your ticket handy until you get to your seat and stop being such a grumpy git. 😀
  17. So what was the process? Three checks? Maybe a bit of a pain but hardly sounds like the worst experience or in the world or a shambles especially now folk now know it will happen. Regarding it not being necessary, maybe it's a condition of the safe standing licence. I can't imagine there being plenty of people relocating especially if they like to stand.
  18. Ok, fair enough. But the point is still valid - you can’t compare the experience of a couple of hundred people trying to board an aircraft with a few thousand football fans entering a stadium. If there was a high risk that passengers just chose to sit where they like rather than carefully finding their correct seat, or worse still - more people try to cram into an area not suitable for that many people, I’m sure they’d soon start to introduce more rigorous checks. I suspect there has never been a tragedy on board an aircraft due to overcrowding.
  19. This may be of little help but I reckon it’s difficult to actually give any practical advice. It will all come naturally. Yes, you’ll both make mistakes but nothing that will cause any actual harm especially as you already work in care. If anything, you’re more likely to be over cautious. Emotions will probably be off the scale from time to time for both of you so there’s a good chance (IMO) that you and your partner will get frustrated and annoyed with each other occasionally (there will soon be a more important person in both your lives). I would say, just accept it’s going to happen and don’t neglect your relationship with each other. Honestly, I think you’ll be fine. congrats and good luck.
  20. If you go on the official website it seems to allow you to subscribe for the game so, I’d say yes. I’m hoping so as I’m still unlikely to be able to make it.
  21. It's been a couple of years since I took a flight but I'm pretty sure (from my fading memory) that boarding passes are checked at least twice: - once at the departure lounge when your section of the aircraft is called forward to board and then again at the actual entrance to the aircraft. If there was a risk/history of flyers just choosing to sit wherever they liked rather than carefully seeking out their correct seat then perhaps there would be another level of checks implemented on aircrafts. But, there isn't so I don't think you can compare the two experiences. In any event, although I wasn't at the game on Saturday, I can't help but feel this was more of "getting use to the new procedure minor irritation" rather than anything really worth getting worked up and complaining about.
