Ooohh. The ref has apologised to White in case he got the peno decision wrong.
Warne’s response on Sky was excellent.
What did he say ?

Actually thought the centre halves did pretty well tonight, let down by others at times

Warne on RD saying the ref apologised to Smith on the pitch if he got the pen decision wrong! You couldn't make it up!
He sounded sure then ha..refs are so bad at this level

Whilst that was never a penalty (and how Sky suggested there was contact il never know) we need to look at ourselves properly. Plymouth are a good side and are second for a reason - they were always going to come out in that second half fighting and we allowed them to.
How many times did we over hit a pass, rush our play or loop a header straight back to them when a white shirt was free close by??
We caused the pressure ourselves and we need to start learning from it. Warne’s philosophy of getting the ball forward quickly works when on the ascendancy but sometimes you need to slow it down and take control and we simply aren’t doing that when we need to and it’s costing us points!!
That's where we miss Bird

For those moaning that Warne doesn't manage the game, how the f*** do you manage the game with so few options on the bench.
Most of our subs are like for like, so short of going 5 at the back, which would draw complaints that we were sitting back, or going two up front which would weaken the midfield even further, there is little Warne can do.
White was struggling before the pen and we were being overrun, Thompson for White or Rooney if available and Smith in midfield..there were options

Squad depth killing us just aren’t good enough
Could do with another forward but otherwise, I think it's more wrong sub at wrong times. Liam Thompson and Jake Rooney could have both done a job in this game

Undone alot of the good work because Plymouth are nothing special on tonight's showing
-
Need changes

I did wonder if this kind of game would be too soon for White
-
I'd look at Thompson in midfield, will need legs (however little)

Bit unlucky

Silly from Roberts there, no need to jump through their man
Cashin should clear it earlier though

Key players for them? Hopefully we can tame them.

For me, this is when a player gets you out of your seat prior to any goal scored. NML and McGoldrick routinely do that for me. Also Knight to an extent, as love a hard-working midfielder like our beloved haggis lover. Ebosele did that for me too. Shame that was so short lived.

Massive week coming up. If it's 7-9 points at the end of it, we will be right in the thick of it.

No moaning mate. Just a simple declaration that the second is a club wrecking cnut
Perhaps both statements could be correct
