There has to come a point where we fluke so many wins, that it can no longer be called a fluke.
Perhaps we're just an efficient, effective, but not particularly eye-catching side? 🤷‍♂️

Matt Le Tissier also said the war in Ukraine was being staged by actors, and he sounded as ridiculous then as you do now.

Some of the reactions on here and twitter last night were beyond a joke to be honest.
"No prem club is going to trust Warne with their young players"
"Max Bird probably left because he cant stand Warnes football"
"Warne can't attract players, the club are lying to us"
    "Warne hasn't got the contacts"
"The club said we had money, a good budget, this is a lie"
    Amongst other things.
Yet if you take time to wait to hear the reasons and let the club have their say. We were two young strikers first choices, but unfortunately the clubs in question could not get cover and therefore wouldn't let them go. But apparently we have a manager who cant attract these young players because no premier league manager would trust Warne.
Max Bird was leaving anyway. It really sounds like even if we had got promoted this season, he would have gone. He has been here for a long time. He wants a fresh challenge. Simple as that. No ulterior motives, no hate of the manager, he just wants a fresh challenge.
A deal agreed with a striker, all pretty much done, till at 8pm the gaffer of the club in question pulls the plug. What can we do about that?
We knew of every striker available, we left no stone unturned. But we just couldn't get one done. Despite trying our best and essentially having one agreed until the plug gets pulled at the 11th hour.
We clearly had a but of money left to bring one in, but through no fault of the manager or the club, it has not happened.
Yet yesterday the club, the manager got dogs abuse for failing to get a striker in.
Washington and Waghorn will be back in 3 weeks. You have Barkhuizen that can play through the middle, NML if needed. In the next 5 games we have one midweek game, so the others are all a full week apart. Plenty of times for Collins to recover.
We have ended the window with a better midfield than when we started & wingers that would be the envy of most clubs in this league.
Lets get behind them now and stop looking to pin blame and point the finger at.

Tomorrow is day one of what is almost certainly going to be "An interesting season"!

I sincerely hope you are giving it the same excited attention as the rest of us Rams fans.

If the reasons for the delay in posting your report from the meeting is in any way stressing you out... walk away from it... NOW!
Forget your well meant intentions.  Forget any "promises" you may have made.  And most importantly, ignore any flak being thrown in your direction, whether that be full on abuse, or poorly delivered banter.
You are not representative of Derby County Football Club, hierarchy or boot room, and you should not be bearing any burdens relating to such.
You are just a bloke that runs an internet forum... for the benefit of others.  No better, no worse, and no more important than the countless factory floor workers, office workers, and street cleaners amongst us.
Crucially, you owe us nothing.  If anything, we owe you, for providing us with this excellent forum of yours... of ours... for which many on here are extremely grateful.
Do what is right for you.  No excuses.  No explanations.  No apologies.  Indeed, if it suits, then don't even make mention of it.  I repeat... you owe us nothing.
Get your arse back on here.  Concentrate on tomorrow's game.  Bring actual real live football back into your life, and sod all those that expect more from you.  Let your minions wield their banhammers if need be, to keep the great unwashed at bay.
This is your manor, and we are nothing more than your guests.  So head up, chest out, deep breath, and let's get this season started.
DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF ILL OVER WHAT HAS BEEN A POO FEW DAYS.

Excellent @Duracell, that’s just the reason I post this stuff, I admit that I do it for my dad, they are his heroes not mine the same as your grandad, when they were going through tough times personally their little old team from the town of Derby was the best team in the land and gave them something to feel great about, they had duck all money in their pockets but they shared their love and support of Derby County who had done nothing since 1946 !
These guys have become my footballing heroes since meeting them all, Roy McFarland said that aswell as teaching them how to play football he taught them to respect others and none more so than your own family, he made them take flowers home to their mums and he taught them how to act like gentlemen both on and off the pitch and to a man  that has stayed with them all !
We cant forget these men, we look at them now and see a collective of seventy something year olds but go back fifty years and they were about to become the cream of British football !
ive met hundreds of Derby players and I have got to say with every passing generation the passion for Derby County becomes a little less evident, nowadays it’s just a fantastic job open to the very few and all about money, in the seventies it was all about being the best, getting called up for your country and just daring to believe that you could be a champion ! Nothing about money or cars or big houses or the fittest girl friend, just being a winner within a band of brothers that stayed together and did it not once but twice for eight of them !

    G'day all!
Please can someone confirm I understand this right?
If you don't watch the stream live, you have to wait until 12 midday UK time before you can watch it on demand.
I like to view it with the kids, but here in sunny Queensland we tend to be early to bed early to rise, and most live match are 0100-0300. However, if I have to wait until 12pm then this still means the match will be on 10pm to midnight (on Sunday), still too late for family viewing.
I know it's my choice to live here, but it is advertised as "watch the full 90 minutes at a time to suit you".........
There's no chance of keeping the score secret until after work and school on Monday.

A further correction: it seems ESPN3 (now called WatchESPN) has the broadcast rights everywhere outside the UK and Ireland bar Australia and NZ, and the rights for Australia and NZ have yet to be awarded.
So the broadcast matches on Sky involving Derby aren't permitted on Rams TV anywhere in the world, but nor  can they be legitimately accessed at all here in Australia/NZ. All I am going to say is it had better be fixed before October 12 (I think it is).
