Finished Korean zombie drama Happiness the other night. A pharmaceutical drug causes 'Mad Human Disease' and people get quarantined in a fancy apartment building. Very good if you're into that sort of thing. Now moved on to Gyeongseong Creature. A typical Netflix horror/thriller, but set during Japan's occupation of Korea. Also pretty good.

Cash is a must-keep this window for me, unless an insane offer comes in (£5m plus - up front - with a loan back). If we do need to raise funds to get a good striker and/or winger, I'd rather we sell Bird at this point.

I honestly don't think we'll get close to 3 mill tbh. With a loan back, I'd begrudgingly let him go for 2-2.5. And yes, that's based on the optimism that we do go up this season. And, of course, it needs to be invested wisely. Get a good goalscorer, wide player, and CM, and I'd say that's successful business.

Interesting to see that it was the top 3 at this stage that ended up getting promoted. Looks like a much closer and competitive league this year though.

Not a brilliant performance from us but you'd struggle to find a more comfortable game than that. Not sure Lincoln had a shot besides the penalty.

I enjoyed the game as a spectacle. I don't think there was loads of quality, but what did worry me was the high intensity pressing of both teams. I personally don't think we have a team that can match that sort of energy for 90 minutes, nor do I fancy our back four under that kind of pressure (even though they've been solid as a unit).

Watched District 9 again last night for the first time in ages. Chris Martin 9.5/10. Easily a top 5 all-timer for me.

These are on an awful run - third bottom in the form table with 6 points from their last 10. In contrast, we've picked up 22 and are flying high in second. On paper, this should be a relatively straightforward win.
