San Fran Van Rams got a reaction from MickD in RamsTV Subscription increased by EFL
I've just unsubscribed. No chance I'm paying that, especially in off season.
Surprised so many feel 25quid per month is reasonable, especially when you don't even know the number of games you'll get to watch given all the broadcasting restrictions.
    To put it into perspective:
    - ESPN+ is $5 per month (~GBP 3.50)
    - DAZN is $150 CAD (~GBP 87) per year, or $12.50 per month (~GBP 7)
(And I'm not even going to talk about Amazon subscriptions which now include sports)
Its outrageous the EFL feel they can justify 3-5x these prices for essentially 90-210 minutes of programming per week (restrictions not applying). AND, feel they can still charge these amounts in the offseason when there is literally nothing to watch on the platforms.
I could just about stomach GBP12.50 per month and I even thought that was expensive. To double that with absolutely no explanation is criminal. I'd be very surprised to see subscription volumes remain at 50% of what they are today, and I'm expecting clubs to take another hit at a time when they could do with all the income they can get. Be interested to know what consultation this got with clubs and what the initial position was. Once again, football is taking the mikey out of fans. What next, a 50 quid replica shirt? oh wait...

If Stoke can offset some of their losses for FFP purposes by saying that a disease of the chest and lungs has caused financial impairment can we not argue that we have incurred signignificant losses over recent years because of disease of the urethra. Just look at the number of ‘piss poor’ players we have bought in the last 5 years.

What. A. Guy. You could see how much it meant to him to get a result today in his after match interview. He was nearly in tears.
I want him around the club for next season and years to come.

I know some say the EFL don't have an agenda but I think they do. It would not surprise me one bit for the result of the appeal to be dragged on for a few more months, they may know they won't win but leaking snippets of information that suggests points deductions in the hope it will continue to derail us between now and when the season starts.
Points deductions or not, what cannot be disputed in my opinion is that 18 months after the original charges were made that it is still ongoing. The EFL claim their primary goal is to protect the league and the clubs within it, yet by being utterly and totally incompetent they do just the opposite.
Its disgusting and appalling that this has not yet been resolved. The EFL should charge themselves with breaching FFP rules..with FFP standing for Fit For Purpose in this instance. They are a disgrace of an organisation.

Must say I find it surprising that Ed Dawes would be arrogant enough to think that. He doesn’t seem the type.

I don't mean to be pious but some football fans see Administration as the 'short term pain for long term gain' approach to seeing a their club become a better football team. Sorry, but advocating administration is morally corrupt.
Any business that goes into administration has a knock-on effect for other businesses that don't get paid what they are rightly owed; quite often leading to a few people losing their own livelihoods for no fault of their own. At the very least it deprives entities like HMRC of revenue.
To suggest that pathway is right because it will wipe out debt - and by obvious inference, allow a football club to spend on players again - is wrong on every level.

This. We have to play to win on Saturday, and win by a couple. We can't hold onto a one nil or a draw so unless we are two up, I won't be at all confident on Saturday.
