It's a mentality thing. When the chips are down this lot more often than not can't get it done.
How many times have we failed to grasp the nettle this year? If we do get up it’ll be because we’ve been slightly less 💩 than the chasing pack, not better!

NML and Wilson trying

NML never offside

That’s the ball Joe needs to play for Wash when it’s on, get behind them and look for the error.

Posh 1-0 up!

We’re gonna get pinched aren’t we?

Once again it seems we are getting dragged into playing the opposition’s game.
Feel that there are too many nerves with the players…. Need to relax and play football…. Don’t keep forcing the pass…
Oh, how an early goal would have changed things…😳
Same old same old. Sharp first 10 without making it pay then anyone’s game!

Wasn’t a good ball by Wash again

Doing our best to let them get their tales up!

Just a warning @Premier ram that's its normally a Home Only pub so you might be moved on but just check with the people behind the bar.
Yeah, careful of Wycombe’s ‘Firm’! 😆

For the tactics tonight we’ve got to hold and give, but do it at the right time. We can be slow or fast, but we must get to the line.
They'll always hit us and hurt us, defend and attack. There's only one way to beat them - get round the back.

Some would also say that today is a day to set aside criticism, valid or otherwise, and just get behind the team too!
Some might…….

I’d be surprised to see a change. I think Vickers started (?in Jan) for contractual reasons or similar and I think Wildsmith is the better keeper. Conditions at Portsmouth were awful so keeping errors were likely. That said, Wildsmith does seem to be developing a habit of walzing out to the left front corner of his box then doing something crazy. It looks awful when it happens but one of his great strengths is decisiveness and quick thinking and so when he gets things wrong it looks even worse than it is, because he commits to it 100%
Some would say once is an error, three times is the lack of a lesson learned!

Hard to know which Wycombe we'll face; will they be at their dogged and determined best, or will they be suffering from a Wembley hangover?
Doesn’t sound like they or P’boro overly exerted themselves on Sunday, so expect Wycombe to have had ample recovery for their real cup final tonight.

Wycombe will be celebrating like they won Sunday at full time! If Leahy r Vokes doesn’t pinch it!
