Federer's turning his game up a notch.

Yep he is. He was always going to do this though, even after dropping the first set.

Another classic showcase of Murray bottling it.

Countless breaks declined in the second set, 30-0 up to being broken in the decisive game, 40-0 up in the third set before being broken again in another decisive game.

Murray - what a ****. I actually wish Tsonga had beaten him, at least he's a likable character. Unlike the human rat.....

Bad luck Murray, I'm surprised he was as emotional as he was, just goes to show he is human after all.

Yes he missed his chances to break but Federer playing like that? He's a very tough act to beat.

The only one Federer can't win is The French Open.. Nadal and Djokovic are better players on that surface and it's too big of an ask for him to beat both..

If Federer stays at number one he has a great chance at the US as the draw will pair him with Murray in the semi-final and Djokovic and Nadal (should they all reach the semi-final) will have a mammoth game.. Feds is a brilliant hard-court player and he can beat Murray and then one of Nadal/Djokovic in a one off final..

It's imperative that he stays at number one.. Murrays best chance at the US is for Nadal to be no.1 and they play in the semi-final as Murray is better than Nadal on the hard court.

The big question is will Murray ever win a grandslam? It's easy to say yes but realistically he's never going to win the French as he's not a clay-court player..

Wimbledon is a tough ask but this year was a great opportunity not having to face Nadal in the semi-final..

The problem he has is that he needs to beat at least two top 6 players on route to the final of every tournament and usually it's 3.. The way the seedings work he'll probably get Ferrer/Tsonga in the 1/4 final, then Feds in the semi-final and then Djokovic or Nadal in the final at the US.. To win 3 games against that opposition in a row is such a difficult ask..
