Martyn
If it was 1.1m I would be annoyed. If that's all we asking for? Seriously? If true I seriously feel sorry for Nigel. Obviously not his fault If we was really offered 1.2million then we would of simply took it, my guess is that 1.1million was the minimum if true... I cant help but think how poor this bit of business is though, cant support an average championship players wage and ultimately with the fee we paid and wages spent, we've made a loss on selling our best player! Incredible. Just incredible. Burnley are trying to take our best player and theres little we can do to stop them. Burnley! We're ****. Ooooh look! Let's slam the club over something that hasn't happened! Woohoo! Happy days!

In real life I'm bossed around by my missus and a 6month old midget we have to carry around with us. I come on here purely to moan. You know Dangerous? He's my idol. Wait until the 6 month is running around and carrying another around then you will forget what sleep is and will moan plenty in real life and come on here to get away from it all (most the time 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />)
Guest
If this is anywhere near true which I doubt then I would give up. Our team already looks weak and we are the new coventry it seems. -JW-
Would be nice if Shacks comes out and says that he is happy at DCFC and doesn't want to leave. That should feck Burnley off.
Mr Tibbs
I know it's paper talk but if it ever happened I would go absolutley APE. 100,000k profit for our player of the season, imagine the outrage.
nookiebear
if true "what really grinds my gears" is weve got andy appleby telling everyone were on course for a return to the top flight??? if this actually happens i can see the rpg or some group similar making a come back

Ambitious
Wonder if season ticket refunds are available this year? you can, I asked. I know it's paper talk but if it ever happened I would go absolutley APE. 100,000k profit for our player of the season, imagine the outrage. well, 900k he was brought for - then, if he is on 8k a week (which isn't a bank breaker) that is 416k on top for the years wages, we sell on for 1.1million, we've made a 216k loss. I probably jumped the gun a little bit, but the noises aren't good and turns my stomach to think what we've become.

Don't think you can really count his wages as part of the loss he did play almost ever game last year, probably one of the few that earns their wages! Ambitious
Don't think you can really count his wages as part of the loss he did play almost ever game last year, probably one of the few that earns their wages! What I mean is, he is our best player and if we sell him overall we've made nothing on him, infact made a loss. There is absolutely no justification for this, makes poor sense both financially and impacts our team greatly for the wrong reasons.
