VulcanRam
Took me an hour driving from Darley abbey to littleover last night, no surprise it's off, with it being difficult to get to, bloody freezing and forest extra fired up I'm not overly annoyed
swansea ram
The joys of being on the tv. Had sky had this game, then it would have been played. Snow or no snow. There is no snow down here, no ice, and the sun is out. Really peed off now. I bet the Newcastle v Villa game is on.
ladyram
Cleared the paths, dug the car out and then Dav said the match's off. Fookin ell. Had a talk to a passing forest fan (an ok guy too btw) but I couldn't resist singing "10 men" 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> and then an arsewipe flies round the corner in a tranny and skids all over the feckin road!!! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I don't drive but even I know high gear, low revs! Feckin tosspot. I'm very slightly miffed here and in the same boat as Lynds, got to cook a bleedin dinner now 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
MrsRam
If I were Muespach, Id take all me mates down to the ground, go in and explain where they've come from etc, and be cheeky and ask if they can just have a look round, seeing as some of them haven't been before. DCFC might at least give them something for their wasted journey, even if it's not money.

seth's left foot.
hopefully when we do play the game they'll be miles off safety and we can put another nail in the coffin.
trekkie_ram
On the plus side, if this is rescheduled between the 10th & 17th then I will be able to attend it (obviously pending a ticket).
sideshowbob
FFS whats the point in the club investing in undersoil heating if the health and safety police are going to get the game cancelled anyway? I was prepared to walk to the ground if necessary, inadequate gritting , buses or whatever wouldnt have stopped me. Got up early too to clear the drive. I hope the police will compensate the club and the fans financially for their namby pamby attitude. Will my work be cancelled tomorrow? Will it fork! I am expected to go to work, why cant I be expected to see a game of football? Probably a cost cutting exercise! Get rid of expensive under soil heating, coz we can use H&S to stop people coming if it gets a bit cold.
SillyBilly
Just knew this would happen, this country is a joke with a few inches of snow. Its embarrassing.
Perky1106
I'm so unbelievably gutted. Been looking forward to this for weeks. But please consider that the club have been doing everything they can to put it on. Staff have been out clearing snow, with spades and bags of salt etc. Also, it would be a nightmare for fans coming from places further away like Belper, Uttoxeter etc so it is for the best. I just HATE snow.
