ramLAD
How can the best signing be ward but shackell player of the year? We got Ward on the cheap whereas Shackell cost us a heafty fee..
Smyth_18
Oh fair enough. Most improved has got to be Theo. He used to be worse than McLeod now he's better than messi. You can't get much more improved.
Ambitious
Player of the year Shackell and best signing Ward? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Player of the year - Jason Shackell, agreed, although I think with so many games still left Barker could be in with a fair shout! Most Improved - Gareth Roberts, agreed, looks one of the best left backs in the division at present! Best Signing - Jason Shackell, with Barker it balances out our defence it looks like the best in the league at the minute! Young Player - Jeff Hendrick. agreed, although had a wobble he is undoubtedly a talent, mentions for Ball and O'Brien and even Robinson Golden Boot - this one is still open, very much so current standings with 19 games left... Robinson - 8 goals in 15(9) games. SDavies - 5 goals in 10 games Ward - 3 in 27 games Ball - 3 in 7(6) games Bryson 4 in 27 games Tyson 0 in 2(2) games all as the possible suitors, although Ward and Bryson winning it now would be a bit of a surprise and Tyson would need to get in gear pretty sharpish.. I predict: Robinson 12 goals in 26(15) - 4 more goals SDavies 9 goals in 17(6) - 4 more goals Ward 7 goals in 45 games - 4 more goals Ball 7 goals in 14(6) - 4 more goals Bryson 7 goals in 46 games - 3 more goals Tyson 4 goals in 10(7) games - 4 more goals 4 more goals for everyone 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> except for bryson, he only gets 3.. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Asanovic
Player of the Year - Shackell/Ward (can't decide) Most improved - Roberts Best signing - Bryson Young player - How young is young? Fielding probably, if he's too old, Ball
ladyram
I'd agree with you about Fielding Asanovic - he tend to be overlooked sometimes but credit to him, he's saved us a few times so far. BTW - Frankie is on Late Kick Off tonight, which gives a sneeky peek inside his house... (suits me, I'm nosy 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ). Just seen a clip on the news - lovely house, rather nice huge pictures but eye wateringly bold wallpaper and wait for it......... ... a red sofa!! Don't care how nice it is, change it Frankie!!! 5 past 11 on the beeb.

DerbyRam!
Best miss of the season (this required a hefty amount of skill) = Robbie Findley we can nominate other players right? He deserves this 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Ghost of Clough
Fielding for player of the year?
sunnyside
Now that Ward has totally gone of the boil I think really it's down to a straight choice between Shackell and Fielding. And that's based more on number of appearances than the way the defence has been playing. Let's just hope the fans don't end up winning it again! Ambitious
I think Gareth deserves a shout out, he has been a fairly consistent rock this season... forced his way back into the team and then performed admirably when others haven't. I think we'll miss him when he goes at the end of the season, but a younger left back is needed for us to progress
