coventry first half were better than us and if they had a striker they would have won the game. They kept the ball well and passed it around us for the first half, we struggled to get a foothold in the game, the only player who looked a threat was ward. Second half, we pressed a bit more, but again coventry still looked comfortable, Fielding bailed us out with a world class save and we went up the other end and scored. It was a poor performence but 3 points, next time we need to be more forthright and stamp our foot on the gas. When we scored we looked better either that or coventry simply let their heads go down.

Best man for derby: Ward 8/10, gave it his all, had a few shots and caused problems.

worst man for derby: Bailey 5/10, a few poor touches and again did nothing of significance. Him and bryson were bossed about in the first 45 minutes.

To the **** near me who kept saying "SPL" loudly when Bryson got the ball, and mocking Theo all game, I say one thing.

Go and feck yourself, and your stupid mate who kept commenting on the match all way through with gems like " stand him up! " or "pick a pass, pick a pass".

Stupid fools, every one has their own opinion that's fine, but do we have to listen to it all match?

Fielding 9 - Nothing 'iffy' at all. Came out and catched everything and made a great save from a free kick that i thought was in!

Brayford 7 - Average, did what he had to do when called upon but didn't seem that interest imo.

Shackell 8 - Played well against Platt, who is massive! Few dodgy headers but generally pretty decent.

Barker 9 - My MOTM, kept talking to the players when we weren't playing well in the first 45, and made sure heads didn't drop.

Roberts 7 - Few decent tackles, gave the ball away a bit to often, but had a hard job with marking McSheffrey but did OK.

Green 7 - Did what he had to do.

Bryson 7 - Full of energy and breaking up play, set up Ball's goal

Bailey 8 - Seems to have hit the gym and knocks players off the ball a bit, his composure on the ball is fantastic as well.

Ward 8 - Not his most attacking performance, maybe because he had to be careful that Roberts didn't get left alone with McSheffrey but did well down the left and took a great freekick.

Ball 7 - Scored, but i thought he was poor today, gave the ball away, and didn't hold it up particularly well. Didn't 'bully' defenders either.

Robinson 6 - Stretched the game, but like Ball didn't do enough to hold it up, and didn't have an attempt on target that I can recall. Prefer Tyson or Davies and for him to be bought on in the last 15 minutes when the defense is tired. Would be good to bring both him and Bennett (on the wing) to really make the defenders think.

A strange voting system where an "average" as you put it seems to pull in a 7/10. Thank god you're not marking GCSE papers.

Especially when our creative Ward get's an 8.. What happens if he scores a hatrick, does he get a rating of 27/10?

Never in my life have I seen a team in the top 8 of the NPC with a negative GD.. Especially as we don't concede that many and haven't been hammered (other than Leicester).. Geniune creativity is needed in the summer and more goals..

When a team plays well and only manages draws, the cliche is 'Keep playing like this and someone will get a hiding'.. Are we the opposite of this, we're one poor defensive display away from a hiding.. Just like that Leicester game, Burnley away next week will be a massive test..

I know who he is chap, just he wasn't a founder of Yahoo and didn't build it (as far as I'm aware, though I haven't checked). He certainly has been credited with making it a commerical success, that I do know.
