Derby County v Coventry City

Despite propping up the table all season Cov have not been overrun in many games so far. Their defence is solid enough and almost all their defeats have been by a single goal. They also brang an end to our last 4 game winning run early in the season with a comfortable 2 0 win at the Ricoh. McSheffry is back in goalscoring form as well. They narrowly lost to the Hammers and Saints in their last two games but picked up 2 straight wins before that after a 10 game run without a win. Out of the cup. Starved of investment needed to give them a fighting chance of staying up. If we take the game lightly we may well get punished for complacency. Their away form is poor but they dont concede many. As long as we deliver a performance we should win.

Steve Davies and Nathan Tyson could start this one, may be a little unfair on robbo and ball but Id be excited to see Davies and Tyson upfront together, although Daveo might not be match fit, hopefully we&#39;ll see them together soon and woth daveo back, certainly worth throwing Benji back in the team, formidable patnership between the davies boys sent us on our run&#33;

Excellent point although you missed the fact that he had one sock slightly higher than the other at times against Palace. Do you feel that this might be equally significant and play a full part in the result against Coventry?
<br />no are you stupid? can we have serious comments on here please?

Back page of todays Telegraph suggests Hendrick may appear on Sat ( I doubt if he'd start though?) and that Davies may be given the all clear early next week. They could both play against Pinxton in the Derbyshire Senior Cup 4th round tie at Belper Town, which is next Tuesday.

that would mean resorting to one up front..because he cant drop bailey and bryson after winning 4....maybe he'll make the bench

Looks like they might have their leading scorer back Jukelewcxz. Probably his last game for them before he is sold. Scored against us at the Ricoh. Keep seeing quotes from Derby players saying they dont want this to be a slip up or an upset as though we were playing some lower league side. Thorne says they created loads of chances away at Southampton and should have won. This game is gonna be much more difficult than many posters suggest.

Was thinking the same, kind of interviews you'd expect to see before a game against Crawley or Shrewsbury.

Every game in this league should be approached the same, every team is beatable including us.

I don't blame the players or club, yet again its the media pushing it.
