RamNut Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 What you see as overrated, over hyped and over the hill, I see as experienced, with leadership, a player that doesnt hide and someone who will always have the ball, even at 2-0 down he's got moral courage. We'll go through a tough patch and at that point it's tough for an 18/19 year old to always come looking for it even when the home fans are booing like mad. That's why we need a Eustace. To get the young lads through it if needed. We don't have too many of those stalwarts around. clough mentions eustace and lo and behold the fans want eustace clough mentions michael tonge and suddenly we all want michael tonge clough mentions waghorn and then thats all we hear about week after week no one ever mentioned eustace, tonge or waghorn or any other one of these boggers before give it 6 months and we'll all have forgotten .....whatsisname p.s. whats the difference between courage and moral courage? To get the young lads through it if needed. Yeah, 'cos our last experienced MF was a great sucess. If we signed Eustace, we probaly would have never seen Hendrick. Now a right winger fills in. 15 yr old, 18 yr old, 19 yr old all playing when they were never intended to be forced into such responsibility. Not asking for investment. Accurate post, just hope Glick reads it and realises that though we can put a squad together, it's only just, again injuries seemed to be racking up, and intone are consistently the same.....time we had some luck on the injury front.
