Any similar game to today?

Can anyone remember a game similar to today's game? Not just with Derby but anyone? There can't be many times in footbal that a team has gone 1-0 down with 10 men in the first half hour and gone on and won (if the other team had no sendings off too). We did it over 90 mins. And we did it against our arch-rivals. At their ground. With the son of Derby and Forest greatest ever manager in charge of us. Who was also a Forest legend in his playing day.

Seriously, could it get any better than this? I guess, if we had so many injuries that Metgod, Clough and Crosby all came of the bench and scored a goal each! Dreamland. Let's all celebrate with a coffee froma paper cup!

Will happen a few times a season over the football leagues, i remember being at the Norwich game a few seasons back when we went down to 10 when it was 0-0 and won 1-0, Ellington scored.

It was in the first half at Norwich, i know it wasnt the same, but you asked for similar.

I could have sworn we were 1-0 up at the time of the sending off, and that it was at the start of the second half... but maybe my memory is playing tricks on me after a few beers today!!

I actually can't think of any matches like this one off the top of my head!! Amazing!!

1-0 up at half time courtesy of Hulse

Carol sent off right at start of second half, for doing the same as fielding.

Ellington scored the winner.

The match that was investigated amid unusual betting on a red card during the half time break.

Spurs 3-4 Man City around 2003/4 time.. Spurs 3-0 up at halftime against 10 men Man City..

Probably the best ever comeback I can remember

But today was also special, for us anyway.

Greatest comeback i've ever seen, now that would be a game i'd love to have been at if i was a City fan.

But today was a rivalry.

But i'm sure it happens a fair amount around the world. Maybe not often in rivalries. But this sort of thing doesn't happen to us too often.

Although, in how many rivalries has a coffee cup got an assist.

It's a special rivalry alright. lol

for me it is one of the best rivalries in the country and it will only get better and better as more history is created and in reality more loathing happens between the two teams.
