Would agree with you daveo; the problem is not nigel doughty and never has been for most forest fans (well most who know what they are talking about, lol). The problem is the clown mark arthur who is in charge of the running of the club and given the amount of money we lose each year and our inability to get signings over the line, its clear he cant do his job and is arguably responsible for the mess we find ourselves in.

Its clear the problem lies in the running of the club because 2 managers have faced the same problem; when they sacked billy they said he had taken us as far as he could which is why a change was needed! Well I and many others believe mark arthur has taken us as far as he can (which isnt very far mind) and a change is necessary if we are to move onto the next level.

Yes, but the next level these days isn't getting a high profile manager who has made a name by buying success. The new way forward, due the new financial fair play rules, thankfully means having a manager who can spot cheap talent or bring lads through from grass roots. It means having responsible owners who are skilled at extracting as much commercial income (turnover) as possible.

Nigel & Tom anyone?

I love how they are doing a green scarf campaign, the reason Manure used it was because Newton Heath played in green and gold. It was a signifier of their history and how that cannot be taken away. As if they weren't a laughing stock as it is they go and totally miss the point. This thread isn't as much fun without Red Elvis and his overly optomistic statements. Has he left the building??? Elvis, has left the building, you see what I did there??? Ah never mind.

Red Dogs are ****!!! That any better???

To be fair, Elvis said that he would be disappearing once the season started.

Secretly, I think he knew what was coming......!

Some of the stuff they are coming out with on LTLF is priceless. Apparently Nigel's dad would be ashamed of him playing hoofball and getting his players to intimidate the ref 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Both our goals were on the deck and they campaigned for a red for Fielding. They are so full of **** i actually feel embarrassed pointing this stuff out.

Think some derby fans are getting carried away tbh! For me, derby were the second worst side i have seen this season, with forest being the worst, lol. What i will say for the team clough has put together though is that you wil never get beat in matches that come down to determination, guts, spirit and adaptability which will win you quite a few games.

Safely mid table for your boys this season which should be seen as a success. Then again, can any of us really judge derby fairly on their performance on saturday given the circumstances?! Probably not; think the game highlighted how **** we are as opposed to how good derby were though!
