suppose you want a peno in the 1st minute and our goalie sent off too? then you can cruise to the inevitable victory......

Nah. Our superior players and manager should take care of that.

But this is football anything can happen. Wigan beat Man United last year 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'd say you have stronger midfield based on depth.

Stronger attack both in depth AND quality

Our defence looks better imo. I know, I know goals conceeded etc. But we've been punished for doing little wrong. Wolves, Burnley, Huddersfield, Wednesday(first half) have all taken their rare chances. Chances that I've seen plenty of teams get away with

Take Burnley game for example. We created 3-5 chances Burnley could only dream of. They got away with it. Their goal, Wolves goal, Wednesday's first, Charlton's first were either rare penetrations of a decent (not great) back 4 or great goals you have to say well done to the scorer.

Our defence isn't solid as a rock. I'm not saying that. I just haven't seen any moments of bad defending like I have from Forest.

If we had to field second string midfields and strikers against each other I'd be very worried. You have depth. Where we can't really drop an out of form Hendrick without losing what small aggression we have.

I'm nervous that you will make match changing subs.

Blackstock off (phew)

Sharp on (ffs)

I hope we attack. Get at your defenders. Ward v Halford could be key. If we try and keep things tight for an hour and settle the home fans I think we'll be done.

1-1.

Forest are in there first game back after a defeat, it will be interesting to see how they react.

Hutchinson could be back at right back & Lansbury showed he's worth a place.

McGugan looks a class above this season so I hope he starts.

IF Clough sticks with one up front with little support it could be inviting forest to hold the ball all afternoon

But it's a Derby & there will be twists & turns

Blackstock is important for us & Cox would get the nod over sharp at this point in time.

Forest 2 Derby 0

I'm going for a all heart Derby display showing enough to fend off Forest, their Midfield is a lot more athletic than ours but ours can knock the ball around better, I think Sammon will be the big problem for Forest and especially if Ayala plays he won't like the raw strength and graft Sammon puts in, and he should be able to knock him about.

It will be a close game, no doubt about it.

I'm not having a pop or anything.

Certainly don't want an argument about attendances/big club etc

But

Last year you were coming off the back of 2 play off seasons and you didn't sell out v Derby

You didnt like the manager etc blah, blah, ok, so let's roll with that....

This year you have a decent manager. I know it. You know it. If Clough left tomorrow and SOD took over I'd be fine with it. Like I said, the "iconic" things is a laugh but he's a decent manager.

You've signed Billy Sharp!! a whole new defence, packed your Greenings away, paid £2m on a striker and were unbeaten until Saturdays game away at Leeds.

What do your part time fans want??

Not knocking you lads who go. But you should really be selling out one of the last two fixtures!

Dont say "ooh it's on Sky".

No excuse. Money maybe, but not Sky.

We sold out last year and look how we've been doing for years. Not that we're great fans. Just illustrating that after play offs OR an exciting takeover you should sell out!

Or are you going to play with Leicester again?

Just looked on their forum and saw this...

My issue is, im running the half marathon, and will finish in plenty of time to get sorted before the game (unless i mess up badly). Problem is my Fiancee is running it aswell for the first time, and i kind of pushed her in to signing up for it, but she has not done that much training and will probably take some time (i hope i dont sound too heartless). She told me she expected me to wait for her at the finish line and spend some time with her before the game..........i am normally under the thumb....but i explained all and she was still angry about it.......HELP!

what sort of no ******* fans they got over there! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

Last year's home game (that was postponed) was on BBC and we still sold it out.

Says it all really and Florists are already using the Sky excuse.

If you can't sell out your own small capacity ground for your local derby, you might as well be done with it and merge with Notts County.

That was an unbelievably good goal.. But in fairness that's what you expect from the greats.. As we're **** and clearly going down, of course we won't score goals like that.. We don't have worldclass players unlike you guys do..

But one thing I don't understand is that you guys have only won 2 games out of 5.. Surely you must be disappointed with that? You're squad of worldclass players should be winning at least 38 games this season.. And you've already dropped points in 3, SOD must be under abit of pressure already? Has the bring back Billy D chants started yet?
