davenportram
Not many house hold names in the promoted Wigan side. Gary Teale was one ffs! So was Jimmy Bullard. Hes doing what he did with us - Old midfielder out of favour at current club, young striker from lower league.

CumbrianRam
De Zeeuw. Didn't they have Thome as well? Bullard too I think. Yes they did, also Graham Kavanagh was a pretty good player for Cardiff, he joined half way through Wigan's promotion season. Matt Jackson won the FA Cup with Everton. Srg
Whoooooooooooooooooooooooo? Bit of a silly argument really, as you would struggle to name players for most teams back then. Fact is, at the time, these players were on relatively high wages.
Jayram
With Bullard bossing midfield and Austin up front we are going to get battered. 3-0 Ipswich.

Roberts and Ellington cost them over a million each. I remember them buying Ellington after he scored his hat trick against us, and thought it was a lot for him. NorfolkRam
Not happening chaps and chapettes. Austin failed to agtree terms with ipshit and is now in talks with burnley according to BBC. His manager claims he will leave swindon in this window. Maybe a late rams bid could do the trick?
NothernRam
Maybe a late rams bid could do the trick? Are you drunk? We have no THAT money to spend.
Gary Teale
We could get Austin if swindon decided to not accept anyone elses bid but our bid likely to be in the region of 100k. We dont want to overspend, we may go bust
Day
Austin has now signed for Burnley, glad we don't have to face him on Tuesday.
Mary Hindge
Well I think your all going out of your way to be negative we have just sold Commons for 300k so we would be able to bid upto anything like 250k oh ***** we have sgned B.Davies for 250k so maybe your right!!!! peakram
Surely this is a match Derby should be winning, at home against a team below us in the league and a manager who failed badly at our own club although at least he had the b***s to come on air and admit it was rubbish most of the time. If we lost they would go level with us and I'd be seriously worried about the rest of the season, who is going to step up and score the 13+ goals that Commons provided in the first half. sunnyside
I'd like to see Steven Davies given a chance to prove his fitness now Commo's gone. He could get those missing 13 goals quite easily (assuming he stays fit!)
peakram
To be honest I've always thought he was better on the wing rather than as an out and out forward, he seemed to use his pace better when out wide, whereas down the middle tended to run into trouble. Would it be worth getting Kuqi for the rest of the year or perhaps he won't come now after feeling let down by what happened on his loan period (being harshly omitted when things were going well).
