Alex W
There we go, sorted. Didn't feel that he needed to, but most fans who wanted him to should be happy now.
GboroRam
Coming out and facing the media after the game is part of being a manager. One of the reasons I think Ferguson is such a ****. He should have done it at the time. Cowardly not to.

CumbrianRam
The OS isn't working on my iPod. Could someone please copy and paste the statement? Clough said: "Losing at Crawley was a bitter blow and we are feeling the hurt as much as anyone. "But I acknowledge that it has embarrassed our supporters and for that we are very sorry. "This apology isn't just for the fantastic travelling support who made the journey yesterday to see us lose, but also the thousands of Derby County supporters who care passionately about this great club. "Our focus now is on bouncing back against Watford on Saturday in the Championship. "In terms of league form we have shown progression this season and last, and it is important not to lose perspective on that despite bitter disappointment. "Results like last night, and away to Nottingham Forest, live long in the memory and we don't expect the supporters' hurt to disappear quickly. "However, we do believe we can still give them a productive second half to the season, with the team trying to play in a manner which is exciting and enjoyable to watch." MuespachRam
Thanks! Yeh, fairly sure it's not him. FFS what is a man supposed to do..? You monkeys have been slagging him off all day because he hasnt "had the decency to apologise" to you...he then does...and you slag him off saying "oh its not his words" get a grip. Firstly you have absolutely no god given right to DEMAND an apology from him, who do you all think you are? Supporters of a club are just that supporters of a club, none of the players or staff work for you, you are NOT their boss, you just support the team they play for, end of. And if he does decide to apologise then take it at face value and go back to your ivory castles safe in the knowledge that Nigel apologised to you all. Damned if he don't...and quite obviously damned if he does... Savage is bang on about our support.
