Hucknall Ram
Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest are on the verge of signing Marcus Tudgay on loan. The Sheffield Wednesday striker is set to join the Reds on a temporary deal initially, with Thursday's 5pm loan deadline fast approaching. But the Championship club are also believed to have the option to make the deal permanent for the English marksman who has 48 goals in 187 games for Wednesday. Tudgay, who began his career at Derby, has failed to find goals on a regular basis for the Owls this season, getting on the scoresheet just twice in 15 League One appearances. But Forest manager Billy Davies has given the 27-year-old the chance to return to England's second tier as they look to improve their promotion hopes. Tudgay is likely to get a chance to impress at the City Ground after Forest striker Dexter Blackstock was told he will require knee surgery and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6526255,00.html . Bristol Ram
Never rated him. Nor I. He'll get dogs' abuse at Pride Park, I should think.
StaffsRam
2 goals in 15 appearances? Bet Billy's ecstatic with that signing. Hopefully they'll play him up front alongside Adebola when they play us. Might as well bring Jason Lee out of retirement as well to complete the uber-frontline! Wilko
We should have gone in for him I reckon. Good player, would have fit nicely into the "forward-three".

Wilko
wouldnt get a game with our forward 3 as i rate cywka bueno commons and green above him I think he could be rotated with Green. He's a cracking player on his day, a shame that move to Burnley didn't come off. Does he still live in Littleover?

Ambitious
I like tudgay, but as a player he has always only been 'alright' who blows hot and cold, more cold than hot but I never thought he'd sign for Forest, he is a player i've always liked more for his work rate and derby background than for footballing ability! uttoxram75
Agreed - if he wanna a derby lad we'd all think he was very average. An hardworking player but lacks the pace to be really good. Can we have a section for "George Burley shagged your wife" song ideas please?
Hucknall Ram
It really doesn't surpise me from what my brother tells me, He really not into Football, from all accounts he doesn't really like it, it's something that he is good at and gets a wage from it, so going to Forest for him is just another job.
