Dirigible
More likely NC changed in response to last season’s kneegate affair, the fines and the touchline bans. Probably doesn't want to get a reputation as a hot head. I don't know Metgod's influence, but NC seems the sort to give credit where it's due. Perhaps some Rams fans ought to follow that example. Hucknall Ram
Yes your right, I hold my hands up Hucknall Ram. http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/news/Metgod-Dutch-class-pay/article-2472189-detail/article.html Well maybe scouting teams like Spain gave him the knowledge and experience so maybe you are right ;-)
RamNut
Maybe to get Metgod they had to agree to give him significant control over first team coaching. Since he arrived both NC and Crosby have taken a much reduced role. Perhaps the biggest risk to us is if Metgod gets poached?

It won't be the end of the world if Metgod gets poached, its not like we've got all our eggs in one basket...........
RamNut
In what way has NC taken a reduced role? think back....it used to be nigel and crosby patrolling the technical area. you never see crosby now. And nigel is far less conspicuous. i think he's happy to let Metgod be very hands on.

What we see for 90 minutes is less than 5% of the job.

I think you are misunderstanding the point I was making. I wasn't suggesting that Metgod is the quasi-manager. Just thinking back to the time when Jim Smith lost Steve McClaren. Boy from Brazil
if you say so.......yawn At the end of the day it is working what or who ever is standing at the touchline. I just thought Metgod had made a big impression since coming back from the WC, but did not know it was just scouting and thought he had a more hands on roll in the Dutch backroom staff team. Day
Metgod didn't learn that much out at the World Cup, had he of done we would of seen us sticking the boot in at Millwall like Holland did in the final. Maybe he snoozed off in the stands and missed it all? Back to seriousland who knows how much of a role Metgod plays compared to Clough?, what goes on behind closed doors throughout the week? Metgod for all we know could be sat all day in a rocking chair watching chick flick's whilst eating battenburg cake.

Leeds Ram
i wouldn't be surprised if metgod was the actual master behind this, i mean taylor was the real brains behind clough, without each other neither did any good with each other they did very well, clough could motivate but without taylor he was nothing tbh. Boycie
Taylor found the players and Clough motivated them. To be fair, Clough Snr did ok without Taylor at Forest, won a few league cups.

Boycie
He did better with him though:) Donny Ram, do you mind! it's part of my job description to disagree with YR and say the opposite. Even when he makes a good point, which he does, I can't let him get away with it. As you were.
