Going on the fare that was served up on Saturday. Having to use the cheap cuts of scrag end, a few vegetables nearing their shelf life that were available to him, along with some items borrowed from the master chef pantry. A tasty stew or as other portentous competitors would have called it a casserole with pomme de terre and roasted root vegetables.
