We need to remember folks that these ratings are highly subjective and while some, for instance, may value workrate and being thoroughly horrible to play against highly (think Jimmy Collins), others will take a very different view.

FWIW, I thought Osborn did very well, though I had Josh Vickers as MOTM myself, but the whole point of the rating is that they create a median. Perhaps a good way to address this further would be to discount the highest and lowest ratings, the outliers if you like, then derive a the median from the balance. That said, it's just a bit of fun, interesting as it is and certainly not worth an arguing over. After all, we had one fella who gave Jimmy Collins between 1 and 3 points every week last season and everyone ignored him the end!

I love the man but he needs to be only used as a late on sub or a cup striker this season once we get a new striker and Yates is back. 

Yeah I get that but I thought he worked his proverbial off, made it difficult for the Boro defence, never stopped running, and was hacked, held and manhandled the whole game with the ref giving him nothing. He's never been particularly skilled. 6.5 or 7, flip a coin. Least we agreed on most of the game but we all see things differently. It's part of the fun.
