BucksRam
Very subjective I think and I don't believe there's a single answer. For me it's any individual who dominated in their sport for a number of years. In no order (although subconsciously I've put Redgrave first so maybe him?), I'd choose: Steven Redgrave - 5 Olympic Golds, over 5 Olympics, 3 Commonwealth Golds, 9 World Championship Golds Nick Faldo - 6 majors, over 40 titles Lewis Hamilton - 7 World Championships Chris Hoy - 11 World Championships, 6 Olympic Golds over 4 Olympics AP McCoy - won just about everything there is to win Tanni Grey-Thompson - 11 paralympic golds Lennox Lewis / Joe Calzaghe - flip a coin between the two. There are other great sports people, but I've gone with the above list based on their desire to keep going at the top level over several years, beating the world's best.
