Alex W
If Becks became available at money we could afford, would you take him? Yes, as someone to have 30 minutes a game. he can switch play, score the odd free kick and if we had a player who loved to head the ball (Kuqi is alright at it but not brilliant) we'd have that second option through him. You'd put your money on almost every ball being perfect too.
MuespachRam
If Becks became available at money we could afford, would you take him? ha ha ha ha... Never, ever, ever, ever...if he was free and said he would pay 20,000 a week to play for us I would tell him to sling his hook. Over rated...over paid...over hyped...and thank the lord...over there.. He can dribble, but why does he have to when can cross and pass like he can. Why can't he tackle? Why does he need to head when he on the ring wing. How has he cost us two world cups? One maybe. There are alot of players that missed penos

Where did I say he didn't need to be able to tackle? We dont know what would of happened if we had 11, all we know he got sent off, Campbell had a goal disallowed, and batty and ince missed in the shootout. Why does a mis place tackle cost us against Brazil? That incident made it 1-1, what about seaman for the second goal? If it wasn't for his goal against greece at old Trafford we wouldn't of got there. Also his winning peno against the argies in the group stages. Day
I'm not Beckham's biggest fan but it would all depend on how much he would want to come, not that it would happen in any case. You have to take into account the money he would also bring into the club through advertising and merchandise sales.
Perky1106
Still a great player. If Savage can do 90 mins in the nPC, Beckham certainly could too. His wages would be easily broken even by the increased media attention and the shirt sales all over the world. Would he want to move to Derbyshire though? No.

If it wasn't for his goal against greece at old Trafford we wouldn't of got there. Also his winning peno against the argies in the group stages. He didn't just "get sent off" he lost his girly little temper and "got himself sent off" pathetically. No one knows what would have happened if we had 11 players on the pitch, but we all know we would have stood a better chance if we had 11 players on...and he was also down as one of the penalty takers so Batty or Ince would have been taken out of the equation. It wasn't a miss placed tackle against Brazil, it was a "oh, er i ya know betta not er go in ya know for er dat er one ya know it mite inja ma erm ya know" lazy wave of a foot at the ball, which brought Brazil back into a game they were not in. Oh, let's mention his goal against Greece...but let's not mention the 28 other free kicks he blazed wildly over the bar during the rest of the game! And his penalty against Argentina....it was a penalty...he couldn't miss...oh, wait a minute..he did when he got us knocked out of the Euro's in Portugal... Presumably you'd describe Simeone's behavior as a shining example of the fully formed footballer/athelete, rolling around on the floor as if shot and encouraging his teammates to harrangue the ref into showing an opponent the red card.... Yeah, that's really the kind of football I like to watch...... Ah, but you're a "win at all costs" kind of guy. aren't you.....
