So that must have been negotiated rather than left to be set by a Tribunal. Still, if it's true, why wouldn't it have applied to games played on loan - unless it was for championship games only? Odd. Yes, I checked back and it was the case that he was out of contract at the end of the season and wasn't likely to sign a new one.
