jimbo jones Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 (edited) 3rd time lucky for Mark Watt who after seeing Dawid Malan dropped twice off his bowling this morning, finally gets him out from a stunning catch from Suranga Lakmal, which belies everything we've seen from the veteran bowler during his time in Derbyshire. I'm not overly optimistic. I think he does ok or well when teams are trying to score quickly but lacks penetration when trying to bowl sides out. Not that we have tonnes of alternatives.
