My donation of I believe Dangerous' £10 is for his Kids FC Now play fair! can't believe you'd deny a Red Dog his moment on a Derby Forum, let the Forevergreenitus be, and play fair! StaffsRam
Only just It's a risk on our part, but we've been able to maintain championship status amidst significant debt/wage reduction. Now that that's been done, we'll obviously look to be more competitive on the pitch again. Forest OTOH have gambled on promotion and it's not worked. Twice. Leaving you in a worse financial mess than you were already in.

red fever
It looks likely he will be replaced at the City Ground by Steve Mclaren the former England manager who left the isle in disgrace tagged the ‘wally with the brolly’ as England failed to qualify for Euro 2008. The lined up replacement will first however have to win over the fans, who given his last headline job as manager of the national team have given his potential appointment a very mixed review. Mclaren would join a club which craves Premier League football and expectations are unlikely to give a new manager especially one who any headway at a club that craves a return to the Premier League. Despite some scepticism this could be a very good appointment for Forest. Despite some colossal failures with England and Wolfsburg, Mclaren has in general shown himself to be a very adept manager, overachieving at Middlesbrough and FC Twente. His previous work at Manchester United and England means he will have a vast network of connections that he can bring to bear in both the transfer and loan markets. Although he will need to tackle the club’s infamous ‘transfer acquisitions committee’ his connections could lead to some real transfer coups which would leave the club buzzing with excitement. The bad feeling around his stint at England also masks his ability as a man manager and tactician, he took an average Middlesbrough side to the UEFA cup final and FC Twente to the Dutch League title. A controversial choice amongst the fans, this could be the appointment that helps Forest achieve their Premier League ambitions.

Ambitious
Although you've made significant losses over the past 2 years, in the news that Fester and Forest have made huge losses the biggest in the championship and Forest spend 138% of their revenue JUST on players wages! No debt at Forest probably due to your mug of a chairman taking it all on as personal debt, even the most optimistic forest fan wouldn't call your financial situation as healthy! StaffsRam
No Debt at Forest ! "Chairman " a) You're indebted to Doughty up to the eyeballs - if he doesn't want that back then he wouldn't charge you interest on it, and he wouldn't be gambling trying to get you into the PL, as that's the only way he's going to get his money back. b) Without Doughty's annual 'contributions' you'd be fooked - which is fine while he's there, but what happens when he goes? Doesn't look like you've been doing anything to shore up your financial side. Every time you don't get into the PL it's putting you in a worse position. Ambitious
not sure that mcclaren is better than BD tbh nice enough bloke....decent coach ....but a bit average as a manager. It's about what you get out of your team, I really really really doubt that Mac will do a better job than Billy with that side at this level. In different circumstances I think he would do a better job than Billy. Billy got players like Morgan and Chambers to be good championship defenders, next season I can see them going back to *****! p.shilton
No Debt at Forest ! "Chairman " Don't worry mate, it's all written down with a little column next to it entitled "interest". The way some of your lot were sl*gging him off for not throwing yet more millions at the deluded dwarf will not be easily forgotten. He either needs to get your durge of a club in the top flight before he starts to run out of cash or he's going to be asking for it back- with interest and abusing him will probably accelerate this. Its going to be amusing if the League goes with the ruling that clubs are only allowed to pay 70% of their income on wages in a few seasons because currently you clowns don't have an income! davenportram
No Debt at Forest ! "Chairman " We had a lifelong fan has chairman. It was all rosy until things came apart on the field (not Gadsby but Pickering) and he had to sell. ND will have a limit on what he will be willing to pump into the club. Eventually if you are not promoted it will stop and he may be forced to sell. Those 'debts' that are just debts to the chairman will become real. What happens then?
