Ghost of Clough
Evans makes his return from injury. Buchanan misses out after picking up a knock vs Dortmund. Whittaker and Sibley continue to build up their match fitness.
Rev
Good to see Evans back, hopefully he can stay fit for a prolonged spell now. Always good to have options.
Anag Ram
That's a strong side. Let's hope a lot of these make it into next year's first team and later the Premier league.
Millenniumram
Strong line up with a fair few of our highest rated prospects playing who’ve already made a mark on the first team. Good to see Evans back building his sharpness up too. Gonna tune in to watch this now

OohMartWright
Struggling to keep possession at the moment. Everton are pressing with a great deal of energy. Hopefully they won’t be able to sustain it.
OohMartWright
Evans is limping - looks to have run it off.

After so long out I’d expect him to come off at half time anyway. Yellow for a late challenge by Sibley
OohMartWright
I see the messing about at the back has filtered down to the U23s ?
OohMartWright
Lucky escape as Everton hit the post and Minkley scrambles the rebound away.
Ghost of Clough
Lucky escape. A header in the box hits the inside of the post. Minkley goes through the forward in an attempt to clear, but the ref gave a FK to Derby on the edge of our box instead
OohMartWright
Half time goalless but Everton have been the better side.
Ghost of Clough
A fine save to deny Sibley’s shot, destined for the top corner, from going in.
Ghost of Clough
Archie and Babos on for Evans and Hepburn-Murphy. Probably see Archie at LB and JBrown move to DM. OohMartWright
It seems abundantly clear to me that Morgan Whittaker is not a midfielder. Passes going astray, lightweight in the tackle. So much better as a striker where he can use his pace and create space with intelligent movement off the ball.
Ghost of Clough
1-0 to Everton. A long ball upfield isn’t dealt with and the CF find himself in plenty of space , scores in off the post.
OohMartWright
1-0 . After a lucky escape just moments earlier after Wassall fails to clear, Wassall loses his man again and this time the finish finds the net. It has been coming.

You do wonder if after a number of years here without progressing it might be better for Wassall to move on and play men's football at a lower level.
