Are you prepared to play a possession style consisting of mostly inane sideways passing & adopt a fake Dutch accent to please some drama queens who know nothing about football?

He's not prepared to do that or set a goals and points record or even match the higher win ratio.

He's more about playing defensive hoofball for the real experts. It works better as the experts know.

Or the record for successive home clean sheets wasn't it?

"Derby County set a new club record in their 1-0 home win over Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship.

Striker Darren Bent’s second half penalty secured a fifth successive win on home turf for the Rams, before a full house of over 32,600 supporters at Pride Park Stadium.

The clean sheet against the Blues was Derby’s seventh in a row in the league on home turf, which is a new club record.

Derby haven’t conceded a goal at home since 24th September and, in fact, the Rams are yet to concede a goal at Pride Park since Steve McClaren returned as manager in mid-October."

Happy days, but of course we were obviously crap with disinterested players and a rubbish manager....so what do we know?

A rebuild after that sort of performance was desperately needed, huh?
