79 Ex Rams still playing

Way back in 2013, I posted the definitive list of  ex Derby players who were still playing and their current clubs:

I thought it was time i updated that so here you go. This time I have included young players that were released without making an apperance as it's interesting to see if any of them made it (e.g. Luke Hendrie).  Great to see the likes of Benny Feilhaber and Gary Twigg still pulling on a shirt!

Feel free to point out any errors and omissions as this wasn't an easy task. Weirdly 4 years on, there are still 79!

Mascarell - Eintracht Frankfurt

But I think this topic was not about on loan players like Mascarell, Bamford, Ibe etc.

thanks for the Mascarell bit, forgot to put that down.

I wasn't sure if it included loans but with it including youth players who haven't made an appearance for us loans may count. 5 on that list were permanents.

If we say Season Long loans instead of shorter ones such as Ibe you can add Arturo Lupoli - Südtirol

Never scored more goals than 06/07 for us.

Shame he didn't stay, his own fault if I remember correctly.

Just yet another advert for how much people read into decent young players and this false idea people have that they can only improve.

Can see a few other names on that list that fans touted as "going to be great" and are now playing lower league, non-league or worse (in scotland).

2 that stick out

Bueno at Porto shame we didn't get him signed up!

Also Callum Ball, remember his great goal against West Ham and we played Macclesfield in a friendly he scored both, seemed a great finisher, thought he'd be higher than non league

My list doesn't include loans.

Maguire has been released by Oxford and Croft has been released by Oldham
