The settings menu will only allow an additional 5 minutes leeway as a combination of pre-start and delayed finish. Anyone else had problems with truncated recordings? LesterRam Posted June 18, 2016 Share Posted June 18, 2016 I have had so many films that are cut in half when its recording its beyond a joke I don't even bother now, I also get random recordings from some obsolete channel and interrupt what you are watching you have to hunt for the remote before it changes in 10-9-8-7.... The only thing that went wrong recently was when the darts over-ran and pushed the rest of the schedule out. Wolfie Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I'm on my second Tivo box, having had the first one replaced due to pixellated and freezing recordings. I've never had any problems with recordings being cut off before the end, though. Not a massive fan of Tivo or Virgin but the third tuner is definitely the big benefit for me, as we often have multiple recordings planned in the evenings. There's apparently a big software update coming out later this year, so hopefully it may sort out some issues and speed the box up - it needs it.
