He doesn't do himself any favours dressed like that. He looks exactly like I would picture a convicted rapist to look.

Surely these letters amount to extortion with legal action as the threat? Hopefully they can club together and get a decent solicitor in to take this rubbish to pieces. Hopefully then CONVICTED RAPIST Owen Oyston and his ballbag of a son will stop pulling this sort of crap. They've managed to get fans jailed on less than non-existent evidence. Must be something to do with funny handshakes.

eddie
Jeremy Smith was being sued for £25,000 for 'defamation' of the convicted fly-tipper and the convicted rapist by holding up a newspaper - the Blackpool Gazette - which carried a headline to an Oyston story which simply said "We're not thieves". Only the word 'not' had been obscured. The case had been hanging over him for 18 months, and came to court today. Yesterday, the Oystons asked the court to dismiss Jeremy's evidence, and they then said that they were suing him for a cool quarter of a million. In my opinion, it was the action of a poor poker player trying one final bluff along the lines of "If you do not settle out of court for this reasonable amount, we will take your home, ruin your life and sell your wife into slavery". Today, it was obvious that Jeremy was not going to back down - equally obviously, the Oystons realised that the whole thing was going to be laughed out of court. Their bluff had been well and truly called, and they are now the laughing-stock of Blackpool. The Oystons have been ordered to pay Jeremy's costs - that is all. Nothing to compensate him for 18 months of torture.
