If my mate comes down for the weekend ,and we watch the match together,he will be escorted out for following his club..

and watching the match with me.

Its village mentality, and the problem with our national sport.

Whilst on holiday with  a local pub from Stapleford in Tenerife,.We went in a bar and put up our clubs colours ,and cheered.,  and booed to our hearts content ,the passion for our clubs was intense,no sadness it finished Forest 2--Derby 2.

If any of us had lost we would have took it on the chin, because tomorrow is another day.

We all support one thing that's football and the passion that goes with it,for all of us

Or you know, just sit with your own fans like it's always been.

(in man utd's case, that could well be at home)

It's more than just getting rid of them because "we're Derby". In our prem season my dad couldn't come to the game against Man City so I invited my friend who liked them, he wore his Man City shirt under his jacket but the moment fans around saw it some of them were really aggressive towards him.

He didn't cheer when they scored, in fact he stood up and cheered when Derby scored. The end of the game (which ended in a draw, I think 2-2) a woman a few rows behind pointed at him when we were leaving and shouted "not so ******* proud now are ya!" - this was in the North Stand btw. So embarrassing.

The point is, whether or not as a fan you're OK with Man Utd fans sitting in the home end, there are enough people very against it to make it a safety concern for the police, some right nutters go to football matches.

There was almost a fight in front of me (East Stand) last time we played them when a couple of blokes turned out to be Man Utd fans - it's always been a problem because of the numbers that want to follow them (at the BBG in the standing days, the police used to escort them round the edge of the pitch to join the other the away fans - always amusing to see other folk suddenly jump up and join the group) - it would be nice if we could all just watch the game without the agro, but life doesn't work like that so they need to be ejected for the greater good....

Oh yea why not just take all the fun out of peoples matchday experience! Next you'll be asking us not to kick treetards heads in before or after the game

If you go in the "home" seats its up to you to behave yourself, don't wear colours and don't celebrate.....its not rocket science, we've all been there. Its just a mark of respect not to take the pish when in that position. If you do, then you deserve a slap.

There'll be local United fans in the ground tonight, mostly with Derby supporting mates no doubt. The vast majority will understand and apart from a sly grin at their mates will observe protocol.

One or two gobby manc pissheads with no class, respect or intelligence will no doubt spoil it for the rest.

And they have more than their share of them. Last time we played them here we had a bust up with some in Frankie And Bennys because one was trying to trip up the waitress with a tray of drinks and when she turned around to see who it was, another started nicking drinks off the tray. These were blokes in their 50's who got a mardy when we spoiled their fun and hoofed them out the fire escape.

I see the snobbery about half and half scarfs continues in abundance...

One of the most irrelevant and pointless arguments I've ever seen in the world of football, and guess what. It's probably just this country that gets wound up about it. A non issue of ever there was one.

Nope I don't, but I'm not one who really gives a monkeys of someone wears one or what.. If it winds you up... Fair enough. Just think it's trivial rubbish social media hordes get up in arms about just for a few RTs and likes...
