Lowe is the latter imoThat is the worst description of the fullback position I have ever heard, and demonstrates little more than a complete lack of understanding for the position, and possibly football in general. Just because some clubs end up with "failed CBs" or "failed wingers" in the fullback position means little more than many defensive midfielders being "failed centrehalves" or many wide midfielders being "failed strikers".
