Brammie Steve
The last time I went to Birmingham I did find it nearly impossible to find anyone who could speak English... We saw you coming that's why!
May Contain Nuts
We saw you coming that's why! Perhaps It doesn't help that the first thing I always do when arriving in Birmingham is a trip to BrewDog, where beer is the only language. After that everything else seems to get lost in translation.

Boycie
Like I said, canna find a decent boozer in Brum, plus you aren't allowed to drink alcohol in Brum anyway, and the missus must walk 10 paces behind you.

Cisse
heading towards the ground? It's in Digbeth. From the Bull Ring go down towards the church until you get down to the market and turn left. Go past the market and stay on your right hand side. About 600-700 meters and it's on the left side in the corner. Nice Irish pub. Very friendly place. You can find that pub in the Britain's Best Heritage Pubs book.
