About a school team in Manchester where the main character Jimmy Grimble is a City fan and gets bullied at school by everyone cuz there all United fans. Anyway he finds these 'magic' boots in a skip (or dumpster) and he goes on to be the best player on the team, everyone loves him in the end and they all turn on the main 'baddie'.
