May Contain Nuts
The lack of pace or aerial dominance (despite his obvious physical presence in general play) means he'll be overlooked by Prem clubs desperate to spunk that sort of figure. They're obsessed with height and pace, the most they'd offer for a player like Martin is more likely to be around
Leicester Ram
He isn't worth 8 figures, but we'd be able to charge that.

Ambitious
Martin was the most deadly striker in front of goal last season, with regards to shots/goal. Also, he isn't bad in the air. A lot better than the average. He roughly wins 1 in 3 of his aerial duals - McGoldrick roughly 1 in 6.
rebb1
He was also preferred to both Rhodes (12 million) & McCormack (11 million) in the latest scottish squad

AmericanRam
I can see us easily getting that with the current landscape of transfers this window. He is just as good as Shane Long imo and look at the ridicoulous amount he went for.
Bridgford Ram
Is Martin effective rather than good? As key as he is for us a top flight side would not be able to build their side around him like we do.
Makedoh
Just heard on radio derby interview with Steve that Chris has agreed a new 4 year deal brilliant news.not going anywhere
lukedcfc
Most definitely.. 11m for Mccormack, 8m for Ulloa and now 8m for McGoldrick is crazy money. I'd want at least 8 for Martin but would demand 9 mill. But who cares he's signed long term and I'm happy.
