YorkshireRam
We've got to hope Buxton will be back in time for the Rotherham game. I still think we need a CB loan though because Whitbread is constantly injured and O'Brien has been out a while and will take time to get back up to speed. To be honest, Ake is perfect in that he is flexible and can play anywhere in the back 4 and CDM possibly, he would be a good utility player to have around. Srg
Question has to be asked why the hell did we sign Whitbread?

RLACML
Simpson said Buxton is just a precaution, much like Dawkins was. He'll be back for Rovrum
Srg
Surely it's an insight into the season? One injury and neither back ups will be there because they'll already be injured
Orphanram
To replace Barker who will announce his retirement before Xmas He is on Radio Derby and said he has done some light training with U21's and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Still can't see it but you never know.

We need another centre back. Might as well make it a first teamer while we're there.

RamNut
Presumably both whitbread and naylor were signed because they were cheap, available, settled in,willing to come, and we couldn't find anyone better.
climbon
Defence looked ok today, and we were 8th (?) Best defence in the league last year. But is 8th good enough for a team gunning for 1st or 2nd?

Yes if we score the same. But that scoring pace is unrealistic to expect to repeat it!

sage
I think this position is the final piece in the jigsaw. A decent cover CB and I'd be confident of top 6, a top first choice one and we'd have a great chance of top 2. Top RB and we'd be nailed on. Smalley Ram
Agree, we need a CB. As much as I hate to criticise one if our own Keogh is prone to mistakes and panic. Been like it since he came here, a real shame cos his play otherwise is really good - hence the entrenched opposing views about him.
