World Cup Prediction League - Predictions

Indeed. Plenty more chances to go though. Some impressive predictions yesterday. I hope to have an 'honours board' application up and running in the next day or so to pick out the bonus scorers for each match - and I'm working on a progression app to see who the movers and shakers are regarding moves up and down the overall table.

Personally, I was very pleased with my Ivory Coast 2-1 Japan!

Ah ok let's go with Dzagoev? Of not then don't give me a point for FGS, as I have failed you!

Don't worry.

Any changes in selection or prediction up to the kick-off time will be processed. I check to see if a prediction has already been made, and then update it if a new one comes along. It's happened already. Last prediction is the one that counts.

Monday 16 June

Group G, Germany v Portugal (17:00)  2 - 1 Muller

Group F, Iran v Nigeria (20:00) 1 - 2 Emenike

Group G, Ghana v USA (23:00) 2 - 1 Ayew

Tuesday 17 June

Group H, Belgium v Algeria (17:00) 3 - 1 Lukaku

Group A, Brazil v Mexico (20:00) 3 - 1 Fred

Group H, Russia v South Korea (23:00) 1 - 1 Kerzhakov

Wednesday 18 June

Group B, Australia v Netherlands (17:00) 1 v 4 Van Persie

Group B, Spain v Chile (20:00) 2 - 2 Sanchez

Group A, Cameroon v Croatia (23:00) 1 - 2 Mandzukic

There are two Ayews in the Ghana squad. Jordan, a striker with Sochaux (on loan from Marseille), and Andre, a striker with Marseille. Brothers, and both quite likely to play. Jordan was the sub who scored the hat-trick against South Korea recently.

Please select which one you want for FGS.

hello and welcome,

Hope Eddies curry was extra hot tonight.

Shepherds pie tonight, Boycie. It was bloody rubbish - no chillies in it at all (I soon fixed that though)

She's predicting the scores, me the FGS for a giggle. We think everyone else is too far ahead now for us to make any impression.
